Okay, Chris, you piqued my curiosity (although I have the feeling the word "retarded" is somewhere in there). Since I've never heard said adage, what is it?

[quote name=\'musicman\' date=\'Aug 18 2005, 08:50 PM\']Would someone please help that person!?

I watch Leno because I laugh. If I want to bore myself to death, I'll watch Letterman.

Those three segments were EXACTLY what I meant when I said,

"Anything Dave does between the monologue and the top-ten list is NOT funny!"

To you. Did you ever think that someone could have a different opinion did you, and that your opinion isn't the know all to end all? Get over yourself.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

"The Internet is like the Special Olympics. No matter who wins, you're still retarded."

This thread is reminding me of another phrase: "Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and everyone thinks the others stink."

ObGameShow: This board is full of nothing but eggheads and assholes.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

It is worth noting that the person who coined that phrase has never revealed which group claims him as a member. :-)

Yes, and "Tattletales" - late in the '70s run of the show.

How about another game show connection and Letterman

Last night's (8/17/05) episode was a repeat and he celebrated (or lack of a better term the 25th anniversary of his failed NBC morning show.  At the end he mentioned the two shows that replaced his show was Las Vegas Gambit and Blockbusters.

He mentioned that the Idea of Blockbusters was to answer questions to win movie rentals (in his own style).

That is today game show connection.
My favorite Win Ben Stein's Money Category:

Where Am I Doc? Urinalysis Restaurant.

But then, some out there think eggheads are assholes, so how can you win that one?

Cordially,

P.S. - Letterman rules!
