Too bad Johnny Gilbert isn't doing commentary, eh?.....
More on it from the designer..

I'll probably download it- It's Wiiware, so it'll only be in the $5-$10 range...

Somewhere, Al Howard is kicking himself for not having more "plunger projectiles".
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Except for some that are really odd amounts, like $12.  Or the $15s.  I even think there's a $20.

Looks like a fun game...if it's a cheaper game, like 5-8, I definitely pick it up.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

What? There have been some GREAT games lately on WiiWare. World of Goo. Tetris Party. BOTH of the Art Style games. They've been on quite the roll of late.

Tetris Party.

I watched the trailer on the Nintendo Channel...is it really that good?

I only have one WiiWare game, Dr. Mario...none of the other ones even look good for my tastes.

Tetris Party must be new.  I haven't been to the shopping channel in a week.  Hey, it's Tetris.  It can't be that bad.  On the other hand, the Strong Bad games were total crap.

The line on Tetris Party seems to be that it's the best implementation of Tetris on a Nintendo platform aside from Tetris DS. And yes, I think it shipped two days ago.

To me, most of the WiiWare title look like garbage.  The only title I would've purchased was Mega Man 9, but then I saw it on the PlayStation Network and went that route instead.  Dr. Mario did pique my interest, though, as does this Tetris Party you all speak of.  Do both have online modes?  If so, I might have to make a stop at Wal-Mart after work and pick up a Wii Shop Card.

"Shipped" in my industry does not always mean "produced in physical form to be sent to retail."

I can understand your reasoning, but Mega Man started on Nintendo, so for me, Nintendo always gets first consideration when it comes to the Blue Bomber.

I hear ya.  Tornado Man's stage can kiss my [Mega Buster].  I hate those little Dr.-Mario-pill-looking flippy platforms.  I can't get past that part to save my life!  Either I end up jumping in the hole or hitting those ball spikes.  Frustrating fun, just like I like it.

As far as my reason for opting PS3 over Wii, I've gotten so used to playing Mega Man games where the button configuration is Y/Square (SNES/PS) for shoot and B/X for jump that playing it with the Wiimote sideways would be akward for me.  Besides, Capcom f'ed up the Mega Man Collection on GameCube by reversing the jump/shoot configuration with NO way to change it so I wasn't gonna risk getting burned again.

/ObGS: Mega Man is blue, just like the carpet on "The Price is Right".
