I'm trying to organize a "High Rollers" game for a fundraiser and I'm a gigantic anus for accuracy. How big were the dice?

The sad thing is, the isn't the most anal thing I've ever seen with regard to a homemade game show production.

Those are a tad too big and noisy as hell. But, since you're probably on a budget, those will do.

You sure those are the same ones you're thinking of? I know the plastic, clanky ones, and these look the same, but the webpage for these clearly says "foam dice".

I actually have a version of the "lawn dice" game, and while it's not a very good game to play as is, the dice are about the right size for HR.

At 2 inches square? Not even close. If you really wanna simulate High Rollers dice, you're talking about 4, I think.

The lawn dice are 3.5" to a side. 4" would be the size of the average male's hand. Of pictures I've seen, either look OK.

The only thing I wouldn't like about the lawn dice is that the pips on the two-face follow the Chinese design of running parallel to the vertices of the die, rather than on the diagonal like we're used to. And if I was interested in authenticity, that would be a dealbreaker. (That said, I'm a dice nerd, so that kind of detail is more important to me than some other ones.)

Those are also made of heavy bakelite, which means if you use them High Rollers-style, prepare to have some dents in your dice tray. At $33 a pair, they're also pricey.

The Koplow product does look pretty cool, the price is right ($10 or so a pair), and if you've got the budget you could pick up some 16" ones as set decoration. Still, I don't see that they come in white.

It's also a shame that the 4" ones don't have the nice beveled sides that the larger ones do, although I bet a careful hand with an Xacto knife or a good Dremel tool could take care of that.

I almost think I would make do with yellow ones in the name of using those, tho.
