Of course, in the '60's there was only one, but which show would be your pick for the best TK show in the '70s and what would you choose in the '80s?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

You don't hear about it here much, because I don't think many episodes exist, but "To Say The Least" was an EXCELLENT show.

For the 80's? "Whew!", of course. :)

80's - The Price is Right

Absolutely LOVED the syndicated 1985 'PiR.

Tom did Dr. IQ circa 1961, and don't forget Big Game in the 50s, but it would run unopposed.

Well, sure Zach, but what are your choices in the 70's and '80s?  I didn't ask about the 50's because even our older members here either can't remember much or have forgotten about that decade.  I liked BTB in the '70s and BL in the '80s/

You're suggesting Zach failed to answer the original question so he could regale us with his broad knowledge? Say it ain't so.
Now then, to the question posed by Mr. Owen:
1970s: Break The Bank
1980s: Wordplay

Can we use Whew! for both the 70s and 80s?

70s:  NTT (Honorable Mention:  SS)
80s:  WORDPLAY (Honorable Mention:  P+--thought he tackled the replacement role with a lot of class)

I didn't really see enough of WHEW! to be able to comment on it.  I know many on this board loved it, but I can't join the chorus for now (perhaps someday down the road I can see for myself).

'70s: NTT
'80s: Body Language.

BL may have had a lousy scoring system.  But Tom and the stars always made it fun.

Just one? That's gonna be a challenge.

Tom had some really good shows in the 70s...Split Second, NTT, To Say the Least, and W! all come to mind.

For the 80s, it'd be a toss-up between P+, BL, and TPiR.

Actually, Tom's gig as Dr. I.Q. was late 1958-59. So here's how I'd do this:

1950s-'60s: You Don't Say
1970s: Name That Tune (Honorable mention: Split Second)
1980s: Password Plus (Honorable mention: Body Language)

Cordially,
