If TPiR Began Naming Rights For Pricing Games...
« on: August 11, 2004, 10:05:49 AM »
With stadiums, and arenas allowing companies paying big bucks to plaster their name on the walls (IE: Arco Arena, PNC Park, Delta Center, etc)...

...If TPiR ever gave suitable companies permission to put their names or product on a specific pricing game, what companies would be perfect or logical matches for the pricing game?

Some ideas to start off with:

Target's BULLSEYE GAME
Poweball's SUPER BALL GAME
Mega Millions ANY NUMBER GAME
Amana's RANGE GAME
Safeway's GROCERY GAME
7-Up's LUCKY SEVEN...

And my personal fave, JOHN KERRY'S FLIP FLOP!!!

Let the naming rights begin!

Surely you mean Dubya's flip-flop

Or, Halliburton's "You have all overbid!"  If there was one contestant in contestant's row.

The "MGM" Grand Game
"Hole In One", brought to you by your friends at Krispy-Kreme
"Shell" Game
"Punchboard", sponsored by Everlast. (I'm thinking an enlarged version here, with the contestant donning the sponsor's product before punching the holes.)
Steinway Pianos presents "Plinko"
Hallmark's "Card Game"

and, of course:

"Coming Or Going", a joint sponsorship between Lifestyles Condoms and Charmin Bathroom Tissue. ;)

That's genius. That's up there with the day I found out that HP, upon merging with Compaq, WAS IN FACT going to rename my team's hockey arena from the Compaq Center to...the HP Pavilion. :)

I'm surprised Dell hasn't partnered with all the major plane companies to copyright one of the meters in planes. What would it be called?

Why, Dell Latitude of course!

I suppose that's a more appropriate sponsor than, say, a strip club. :-)

 "Coming Or Going"
"Time Is Money"
"That's Too Much!"

"This half of The Price Is Right has been brought to you by Bill's Escort Service...."

Come to think of it. Meinike would be a good sponsor for "That's Too Much!" Aren't the the ones who aren't gonna pay a lot for a muffler? :)
