Front game over the bonus round?

They could fit an unedited main game into a half hour if they wanted to.

Reminds me of the dialogue I would have loved to see on 500 [sic] Q, although of course it would have been edited out if any contestant tried it:
Host: Why did you select [category contestant selected]?
Contestant: Because I want to get on with the fucking game already.

The high scoring player stays on stage while three new players play another full game - maybe just three questions per round, as the free spins on the board can make up for earning fewer spins to start. The challenge in the second game is to have one of the players top the winner of the first one.

Another thought: three contestants play one round with five or six questions, then three more contestants play one round, then the two best scorers face off in a final higher-stakes round to determine the winner. (No bonus round.)

It's funny because I think the PYL bonus round is probably best watched live and in person. One of the most exciting moments they've ever had was one where the clock didn't matter because the contestant was in range and it came down to the last prize they hit and its value. But I agree that it doesn't happen often and usually it comes down to whether or not they'll leave with something significant.
