Front game over the bonus round?
Loogaroo:
I don't think there's enough time in the show to play two games of PYL without both of them being edited to death.
MSTieScott:
Tell the contestants they don't have to deliver a monologue before every play/pass decision, tell Elizabeth to stop dragging down the proceedings to ask contestants how they're feeling, and don't try to make a meal out of every prize value reveal.
They could fit an unedited main game into a half hour if they wanted to.
The Ol' Guy:
My suggestion would be to play two shortened complete games. Three contestants play the first game. The high scoring player stays on stage while three new players play another full game - maybe just three questions per round, as the free spins on the board can make up for earning fewer spins to start. The challenge in the second game is to have one of the players top the winner of the first one. If no one in the second game earns more than the winner in the first game, the first round champ goes on to play a shorter but high stakes bonus - something that can be played out within, say, 10 minutes max. Obviously, if someone in game two beats the high total of the game one player, they go to the bonus. Good for extra tension as the first round champ sweats over every second game spin.
Back to the orig topic, the front game of Let's Play Post Office beat the bonus quickies - they were like the Stewart "Riddlers" bonus lines.

Pretty sure the Banks version is already three questions per round, isn't it?

The standard is 3 questions in the first round and 4 in the second. Early in the first season, it was 4 and 4, and apparently in season 2, they had 3 and 3 for some episodes. (No idea if perhaps they were playing 4 in the second round, but edited one out.)
