I have a copy of that episode directly from GSN's digital copies (in other words, not what was recorded off GSN) and yeah, weirdly, the host and panel and game one contestant introductions just aren't on that recording.  It has the entirety of the Dream Whip bumper, and then goes straight to the secret.  Cannot imagine any reason for them to have deliberately omitted it, so my guess is that it's either not on the kinescope or the kinescope was damaged at that point and they couldn't recover that minute or so.
