-Concentration (syndicated 1973-1978)- I got an episode in a trade. What a weird show! It would be nice if there were some episodes that survived.
Although it's never been seen outside of its original run, it is widely rumoured that this is still around. It's the NBC version (1958-73) that's widely gone.
I've been told by someone who should know, that most if not all of the NBC run of Concentration does exist, in kinescope form. Not sure if any/all of the kinescopes are in color though; I have seen a color kinescope of the final NBC show.
So does Classic Concentration. NBC owns that show.
So, this leads me to ask, if NBC owns Concentration, how come TPIR is owned by Fremantle and not CBS?
The 1958-73 version of CONCENTRATION was not originally produced by G/T. While they did produce the 1973-78 syndie and 1987-91 (plus two years of reruns) NBC run, Goodson merely leased the formatting rights.
EDIT: OK, Mike beat me by a minute. Dang fingers.
