There\'s something about Anitra that made me like her a bit more than Janice during this period.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

I thought the five price tags for the car were pretty brutal -- or did car prices back in those days usually end in 0 or 5?

Anitra exuded sexiness.  Something about that mischievous smile... methinks.

Janice was pretty.  Anitra was hot.

That must be something they changed eventually, because I don\'t remember the prices ever being that close together.  Plus that was far too early in the run of the show for them to have established their unofficial tricks and shortcuts.  It was basically a random game, but remember that you could give yourself an 80% chance to win by playing the true/false part perfectly.

It was basically a random game,

It\'s almost like they intended it to be that way...

I thought the intent was \"pick the right price of the car and win it.\"

It is. I fail to see where the two are mutually exclusive.

Depends on how you look at it. A multiple choice question about the NFL rushing yards record would be ponderous if the choices were 4352, 4409, 4462 or 4480. I would assume Chris doesn\'t put the two decisions in the same league.

You assume correctly. One was always meant to be a question of hard knowledge. The other was not.

Miniskirts and a Beetle. I didn\'t think it could get any more (early) 70\'s than that, until I saw the TV.
