CBSJokersWildFan:
How many tournaments were held during the run of The $100,000 Pyramid?

What is the longest that any one tournament lasted?

$100K Pyramid(CLark) had 12 tournaments, the shortest was IIRC two shows and the longest was 12 shows.

Davidson $100K had five tournaments, and all were won in the first week IIRC.

The last Clark $100K show should air again on Saturday at 6PM EST(or Friday if they skipped over the Thursday show of the final week due to the Feast of Favorites tonight)

Thanks, Zach.  :-)

Don Howard:
Ah, yes. A reflection to a time when holding a $100,000
tournament meant that someone was guaranteed to win
the $100,000 cash award.

And a time when winning $100,000 wasn't a common occurrence.

In watching Bullseye last night, my wife commented on the fact that an average Bullseye win ($3K-$4K) was pretty chintzy.  Of course, she's had her major exposure to game shows during the past four years, when even mediocre performances win ten times that much.

Geez, I'm starting to sound like Steve Beverly now.
