Is there a host you would like to have seen more of but cannot because most of their work was not saved, or maybe because their careers happened before your time? For me it would be Art James. For years Peter Marshall fell into the category for me until the 'HS' repeats came along.

Bill Leyden for me.  Though he did shows for Ralph Edwards, Monty Hall, Goodson-Todman and Bob Stewart, it seems like nothing of his is available to be seen.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

And strangely, the one existing episode of You're Putting Me On is the pilot, and is hosted by Ron Hussman.  There is one Leyden-hosted episode of Call My Bluff that GSN has aired.

Odd that he twice hosted shows that he was replaced during the run, once because he wasn't cutting the mustard (Call My Bluff), the other for health reasons (You're Putting Me On).

Bill Leyden made a guest appearance on a '60s prime-time adventure show; maybe it was The Man From U.N.C.L.E.  And in the latest edition of EOTVGS there's a photo of him under Your First Impression in which he was wearing a patch over one eye.

The hosting of Jan Murray. A fair amount of his panel work has been saved but except for a 1950s episode of Treasure Hunt obtained through Shokus Video, I've seen nothing he's hosted.

Does anybody know when this happened?  I don't recall GSN airing Call My Bluff.

There's an episode of Dollar A Second that exists (which may be on Youtube, as a matter of fact) hosted by Jan Murray. It is a treat.

How about one of the best ever, boundless energy, enthusiasm, knew how to wring every drop of drama from every point of a show?

Here's a clip of him at his other job, from 1976, one of the most hilarious lip sync jobs ever (notice when he sings the words "Open the door")...

I fear that it wasn't.

And back to the original subject, Geoff Edwards comes to mind--only because I never really watched him when TH and JACKPOT7x were originally in production.

And I was a little young to appreciate Fleming's J! (either version he did).

I have that episode on a DVD I got for Christmas that had these game show classics (I don't remember the exact title).  There were four game show eps on the DVD, an ep of "The $64,000 Challenge, Dollar A Second, another game show I don't recall, and an ep of a TV show that was not a game show whatsoever, but an information show called "What Are The Odds".  I found it interesting, but it had nothing to do with game shows in any way.

But yes, the Dollar A Second ep was indeed a treat.  And it was MUCH better than that lame Bob Eubanks unsold pilot of the same name.

One forgotten host I would like to see is Bill Malone, host of the original Supermarket Sweep.  Sadly he was killed in a car accident in 1974, so we won't see any retrospective interviews from him.
