GSN Schedule proposal
SplitSecond:
Cable outlets are (correct me if I'm wrong) allowed to combine all the numbers they draw from repeat showings within the day (or within a 24-hour period) into an aggregate rating.
There's no \"dissipation\" to speak of. Time for a more clever excuse as to why you don't want to see the originals, perhaps?
Jimmy Owen:
I do want to see the originals-in prime time, not daytime. You don't see the real networks putting on that evening's episode of \"Friends\" or whatever in the daytime, they save it for prime time. I guess the question is: How many times a day should the same show be rerun? In my opinion two showings of the same ep per day is enough.
Your going to open the day with a version of "To Tell the Truth" that about 3 people remember? And follow that up with 2.5 hours of obscure classics?
Personally, I like the Robin Ward TTTT, and I rank it second to TTTT '90.
Leaving in the video game block is insanity writ large, tho.
--- Quote ---In addition, I noticed you conviently left out \"Friend or Foe\" off the entire schedule.

Well, at least he got THAT right. :)
Ian Wallis:
--- Quote ---Although all 4 are great shows, there really aren't that many episodes in the vault... about (very loose guesstimates) 50 episodes of Bullseye (I don't think all eps were transferred to GSN's Digital format), about 70 of Break The Bank, and about 100 episodes of GO really don't go that far on the weekday schedule. They'll fall into Run-intotheground-itus rather quick.
--- End quote ---
I believe that \"Bullseye\" had 160 episodes converted. \"Break the Bank\" had about 100 if you combine both the Kennedy and Barry runs.
OK, so you run throught the episodes quickly - simple: once they're done, put another short-lived show in there. GSN certainly has enough of those!

Since it's assumed that both it and Wintuition are on permanent hiatus anyway, I don't see what's wrong with leaving them off.
