Personally, I like the Robin Ward TTTT, and I rank it second to TTTT '90.

Leaving in the video game block is insanity writ large, tho.

Well, at least he got THAT right. :) [/quote]
So your one of the three then, Chris? :)
Seriously, I have nothing personal against Robin Ward's \"To Tell the Truth\" other than the fact it's more than likely the least known version...people would turn to it say \"what's this\"? and move on to something more entertaining.

And proudly so. Didn't care for it so much in first run ('cuz it was a panel show and as a kid I was into games), but looking back, Ward paced the show faster than anyone before him, and the One-On-One round was a nice twist.

Plus it had a lot of chase lights on the set. I love chase lights. :)

Well, I guess I know what to send you for Christmas, then.  *digs around in ShopKo's bargain bin*

I liked it too, but I wonder---was the fast pace Ward's style, or was he pretty much forced to rush it to fit in the One-On-One game? 1o1 is fun, but it takes way too long to play, IMO.

Probably both.

I agree that TTTT 80 was a great, if unknown, series.  I'd even say that Ward did a better job than anyone (except Gordon Elliott) who followed him.  Even though he never seemed to know how to look at a camera.
