It's only appropriate Mark Evanier stop by; we've posted plenty of links to his fine site over the years. With his background and Randy West's visits, this board may be the most informative thing around as far as the history of announcing and voice overs.

Agreed..I also post on some Animation forums which also discuss classic comic books..I was taken in by a bogus "Dick Van Dyke"  Gold Key Comic series that had some really bizarre stories behind them..which were bizarre because none of it ever happened..was all made up by Evanier..After really being embarrassed I had a good laugh over it all.  He is one talented writer and it is an honor to have him here..
