First off, thanks to JRJ for that wonderful clip! Secondly, I notice there is a dollar sign on the money cards podium that was not there in the past. Anyone know when it was added?
53% of his posts pertained to clip and/or theme requets.
Espicially when the sole purpose of the request are for self-fulfillment, not to help others.

How long will it be before he posts another clip request?  Bet Now!
So if my math is right, this guy has made a grand total of NINE requests in the last fifteen months?  One every fifty days or so?  Requests that other game show fans are perfectly happy to fulfill?

You people who are making as many as nine posts a DAY -- most of which are just complaints -- sure do find the oddest things to complain about.

WOW.

Some things never change, do they?

Too bad you couldn't have shown a window into the future to what GSN would be, three years from when that post was made. Some people would have *really* hit the roof. ("Whaaaaaat!!?!???? They don't even have GAME SHOW in their name anymore????!?!?!")

Myself, I'm more of the school of thought that Brandon (Brooks) said. While there *are* shows that I'd love to see on GSN but are not there, I am happy with the current product. It's a lot better than no GSN at all!

Brandon's made-up story about a jerk who constantly harasses you personally because you're not giving him the tapes he demands has very little to do with a member who, best as I can tell, makes a polite though grammatically iffy request to the group as a whole every couple months or so, a request you're free to ignore or even killfile.  The fact that you take this general request personally enough to express anger with it troubles me a lot more than the request itself.

The dollar sign was added in late 1979, with the addition of the new G2T2.

They never did, however, get rid of the annoying space between the thousands and hundreds column, making the scoreboard say "3 000", "10 000" and "B UST"

No it wasn't.  I have tapes of CS from 11/79 with the new G2T2 (they were the final eps shown on GSN on weekdays), and the dollar sign wasn't on the MC display.  The dollar sign was added effective with the first tapings of 1980 (not the first airings, but the first tapings).

True dat, my main man. But if I hadn't made my little crack, I wouldn't have made The $core of the Century!!!!
While your point is a good one, after 15 1/2 years of waiting, I'm finally gonna see those last five minutes thanks to an anonymous good Samaritan.

Rest assured, equipmentwise, you don't have it.

Maybe they were originally thinking about putting a comma there(?)
