I'm wondering if the opening bid was set too high.  If the item would have opened at $1.00, would a bidding war have started?

Well 8 out of 10 things I place on eBay sell. I'm not going to sweat a couple of things that don't. If someone wants something I have, then I am happy that we both get something out of it. If something doesn't sell then I just have to market it differently. Different price or different place. I gain something weather something sells or not. It's called knowledge. I'm happy either way.
