Right; he should "let" the other two players have a chance.
"Letting" two players have a chance, eh?

You know this Ken Jennings fiasco reminds me of this classic Aussie $otC clip (circa 1980's), courtesy of Brad Francini and the gscentral.net!
And call me crazy, but I'm slowly starting to get sick of him already because the other two contestants never got any breaks.
Just think how bad it would be if contestants could still buzz in while the clue was being read. Ken has the timing down to a T...when you've won 30-some odd games, it happens. It's all second nature to him, where the other two contestants are just getting started. I don't think he's trying to spite his opponents or anything; it's all reflexes...and competition.

Not that I'm Ken's spokesman or anything, unless he's trying to help a poor man through college. ;-)
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!
Anyway, Jennings will be on Leno later this week, and J! might be running promos about how "unstoppable" he is with quick montages of him reaching $300,000, $400,000, $500,000, etc. up to $1 million.
Cool as FTN in the UK has the rights to Leno on a 24 Hour Delay (I think) we are set to see it this Late Friday Night (Past midnight).

The July 12, 2004 issue of People magazine ("Britney Spears Engaged" cover):

page 133:  "Quiz Whiz":  "We'll take Undefeated Champions" for $662,000,
    Alex.

If that was the whole article on Ken, you just saved me $4!

Yep, that was the whole article besides the usual two pictures of
Ken and Alex (and you can tell how much this story ranks in
importance as it was nearly all the way at the back....)

Which means you should have provided a link instead of posting a copyrighted article in its entirety.

Shame they don't seem to teach copyright laws in certain schools.

I think he'd have to start getting nervous -- more because of the fact that Ken has never been behind going into FJ and he seems to be getting more dominant with each passing week!

Not really, since passing the million dollar mark, the only game he truly dominated from start to finish was tonight's. Before that, the last few games he struggled out of the gate, before rallying in Double Jeopardy.

I think it's more of a matter of that he has never been behind in FJ! and it's been the better part of three weeks since he's even not had a runaway.

I mean, yes, he's been behind the better part of the first round a couple of times -- but, by the end of DJ, he's gone...

Last night was a perfect example.  Not dominant -- very workmanlike -- still gone.

Well, of course Kevin's nervous. He's scared spitless because he knows that if Ken breaks his record, ABC will take his money away and then he'll turn into a pumpkin.

Two things:

  1.  If I wanted to post the complete article, I would have had to print out all
ten of those Final Jeopardy clues listed on that page.   Thanks for ruining
 my day!   :(

  2.  I thought Ken passed Kevin Olmstead's record on his first show?
  (wasn't Kevin's Jeopardy! total only $25,901?)

I'm just still a bit upset:  it's just an article about Ken Jennings, not the
innermost secrets of the CIA or the FBI.  And sure, schools will now be
required to teach kindergarteners the basics in copyright law.   Chill!!
