Buzzr Q3 2026
« on: June 15, 2026, 11:06:59 AM »
Saw a promo for Buzzr's next stunt, in which they'll air games from around the globe.

Seen in the promo was "Small Talk" (UK), and "Family Feud Canada", among others I couldn't identify.

The only other show included in the promo was "Going For Gold" from the UK.

The promo for BUZZR Goes Global, a promotion airing non-U.S. content includes Small Talk, Going for Gold, and Family Feud Canada.

Even though I'm ambivalent about the show itself, I'm optimistic that Feud Canada will be a good get for Buzzr and has a real chance to stick around for the long term.

At the very least it's a fun idea when it felt like both ideas and fun were in short supply.
This signature is currently under construction.

A promo is now airing that they're going to be running the Steve Harvey Feud clip show series "Family Feud Favorites" starting on July 6th.

Thank goodness they are starting with Series 2. While the first series was charming, man was that set ugly.

/Saw some of the episodes on Challenge back in the day, in case you're curious.

For clarification, "reverts back" means the channel is jumping from 6995D to 7223D after having aired 7001D through 7222D during the previous drop. But these are still new-to-Buzzr episodes, correct?

Looking ahead, it appears the guide description for Family Feud Canada will be "Two families compete to guess the popular answers to family-friendly survey questions with a Canadian twist!!" I'm amused that they felt it necessary to specify "family-friendly."

Admittedly, my FFC viewing has been limited to a few viral clips. Is it any more “family-friendly” than the current US version?

Yes. If you liked the days of Feud where they just asked normal questions, then you will enjoy.

Yeah. I've seen a good number on GameTV, and still don't recall any questions that were designed to showcase how many ways the writers can convey "penis" or nakedness. Gerry is also of a much milder manner.
(Side note though: I still find Bruce Smith's Fast Money moment on the Celebrity version to be positively hysterical, his answer and Steve's reaction just felt totally random ;D)

Just looking at the schedule on their site - Are they really going to preempt Going For Gold tomorrow  (7/7) for an infomercial after one (1) consecutive airing?

That time slot, along with the midnight one, has had infomericals in place three times a week for a while now. Weird scheduling by them, but what else is new?

On the FAST channel feeds, they usually air some recently-played episode(s) instead of the paid programming. Today, they're airing a repeat of yesterday's first Family Feud Canada episode.
