New Daily Puzzle Game
« on: June 05, 2026, 10:13:30 AM »
Hi everyone.  I've been working on a new daily puzzle game that I just launched called MetaFour.  It's kind of a combination of the Wipeout bonus round and the UK game show One Question.  You're given a category and 8 clues, four of which belong to that category.  I'd love any feedback and any shares are appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what would be causing that, I know others can access.  Do you have ad blockers setup?  I just removed everything related to Google AdSense.

Nice! NYT Connections is part of my morning ritual, so I'm liking this. Only thing I'd recommend is to perhaps up the difficulty; keep it at 4 right answers but increase the number of choices.

I quite enjoyed the concept behind this.  Nicely done!

If you want feedback--I might decrease the number of attempts you get by one if you stick with eight choices.

That's what it was. Kind of a reverse Connections, I like it.

Just gonna say today's was a trick question.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but as a crossword clue, "e = mc^2" needs a "for example" after it. But then this isn't a crossword, so.

My thought reading it was "theory of relativity". I think a less famous example could've been used there, but no worries, still pretty fun.

I fell in to that trap as well. Still enjoying the game though. There's always gonna be kinks to iron out.

Thanks for the feedback!  Now that you mention that, adding "for example" would have been a better clue.

Yes, or "(e.g.)" if you value text space.
