Perhaps Barker's estate (or executor)?

They're not the ones aggrieved.

Yeah, but the aggrieved party (Barker) is dead, so who would bring the case?

The executor of his estate could bring it. Presumably the NDA binds all of his heirs, etc.

You can't defame the dead, so the only cause of action would be a breach of the NDA.

I sometimes wonder why Barker was never brought up on charges of suborning perjury. Mr. Brown?

Eh, it's very rare for somebody to be charged with perjury (or suborning perjury, or conspiracy to commit perjury) related to testimony in a civil action. It's mostly punished through the exclusion of evidence or other court-based sanctions.
Cheers,
Mr. Brown, Esq.

Surprised they didn't mention Bart Eskander. I know there were issues with him and Nikki Ziering. I had heard Bart say some inappropriate comments when I was in the booth. Surprising, that he would say this in front of someone who didn't work there.

I remember Phil Rossi bragging to me once about how much money he was making and how good his benefits were.

Syd always seemed very aloof and I know most of the staff wanted nothing to do with him.

Kathy Greco would have been good to interview.

There's a story that writes itself post- Barker with Mike Richards, Brandi, Lanisha, etc....
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

I think the only reason they brought up Phil at all is because it happened to Claudia, and she's gone on to have some fame outside of the show. It's pretty obvious that the entire thing would've focused on Barker otherwise, and for people saying this is old news, that's true but I would rebut that it's old *to us*. The average person likely wouldn't have realized the complexity of the matter besides "Barker was sleeping with the models".

Once, Syd came to visit the set. He stuck to the stage left side; Roger stuck to the stage right side. Never did I see one in close proximity to the other.

I've never gotten a straight answer as to whether Syd owned a (small) piece of the show.

Dirty thought: one wonders whether Barker had sex with Dian more often than with Dorothy Jo.

Now I have to go to confession after thinking that thought.

Fun fact: I haven't been to confession in many decades.

The bigger question is did Barker get on all fours to whimper and growl like a puppy in heat with Dorothy Jo like he did with Dian?

Probably not lest Dorothy Jo would spay or neuter Bob (but then a lot of this would have been avoided)

There goes my appetite for the rest of the day.

No chance of seeing Barker and Dian appearing together on Tattletales, I guess.

Maybe Barker did that with Nancy as well, who knows?

Dian always did seem to be the type that would be into some weird stuff

If Janice ever writes a book, I doubt it will be as good as Kathleen's

Does Kathleen discuss the departure of Marc Breslow in her book?

I'm willing to believe there was no sex between Barker and Nancy Burnet, though I'm sure she was in his will.

Kathleen auditioned for and subsequently joined the show in 1990, a few years into Paul Alter's tenure. So I'm betting she had little-to-no knowledge of Breslow.

Is it correct to say Kathleen never crossed paths with Frank Wayne or Johnny Olson? Certainly not with Jay Wolpert. So much for buying her book. I've read enough about Barkergate on the web. Does she talk to/about Paul Alter, Jeremy Shamos or Jonathan Goodson in her book? Or is it all from Kathleen's point of view?

I used to deal with Frank Wayne when I proposed the Switch? game. Frank always had me pegged as a writer, which is not really accurate.

Jay Wolpert, Markie Post and Mike Malone had left the company when I got there. Bart Eskander was an office boy.

After the cancellation of BTC I asked Frank what he thought of Monty as an emcee. "Monty Hall wouldn't say 'shit' if he had a mouthful of it" was his reply.
