The executor of his estate could bring it. Presumably the NDA binds all of his heirs, etc.

You're a lawyer.  Please tell me how this is not considered an onerous agreement.

No.
Cheers,

Does Kathleen talk much about Paul Alter in her book?
Mentions him a few times, but nothing elaborate
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

And now, The Motion Picture!

This will be another chance for the LFAT gang to lose their collective minds, since a fictional BASED-on-a-true-story screenplay can take far greater liberties with the truth.
Well if they decide on a nude scene, they have 2 options...

Dian Parkinson posing for Playboy or Barker on all fours whimpering like a puppy in heat.

Good lord, don't remind me. I read that one time which was enough for the rest of my life.

Dian's quote doesn't explicitly mention him being naked doing this, though it could be implied

Just picture him doing this fully clothed,. Less trauma

Let's just assume for a moment this would be a major motion picture, and not an independent film.  Who would you cast?

Here's how I picture it...Emma Stone as Holly Hallstrom, Margot Robbie as Dian Parkinson, and because there would need to be some comic relief, Frank Caliendo as Rod Roddy.

For Barker, I have two ideas.  First, Tom Hanks.  He has a history of playing famous people (Walt Disney, Mister Rogers), and since he played Sully Sullenberger, we know he'd look good in a white wig!

Otherwise, how about Walton Coggins?  He's played two game shows host before (Peter Tomarken and Baby Billy!) and he'd bring the right amount of....sleaze to the role that this production would probably be aiming for.

Any other suggestions are welcome!

How about Patrick Fabian from Better Call Saul as Bob? He has the same type of authoritative, deliberate speaking cadence, could easily add the right amount of sleazy charm, and even has a pretty close physical resemblance as well.

Honestly I’d also consider Bob Odenkirk as well.

Before some of you post, I’d really like you to ask yourself three questions…
1. Does this need to be said?
2. Does this need to be said by me?
3. Does this need to be said by me right now?

If the answer is ever “no” in this decision tree, just step away from the keyboard.
