Punch-A-Bunch question

If a contestant bails while still having additional slips to reveal and one of the remaining slips said "Second Chance, did Barker ever allow a contestant to punch an additional hole to see what they would have won?

I also remember that coming up and, no, they didn't go through with that.

I agree with not going through with that because it would take up valuable time IMO.
