Game Shows In The 2026-27 Season -- List
« on: June 03, 2026, 05:41:50 PM »
The months of May & June usually reveal what TV programs stay, which ones get the axe, and what freshman shows will premiere in the fall.

Here is what I have read thus far about game shows returning for new seasons in the fall:

NETWORK DAYTIME:
Let's Make A Deal
The Price Is Right

SYNDICATED:
Flip Side – Renewed for Season 3, apparantly one of the fastest-growing game shows
The Perfect Line – Renewed for Season 2, last season’s top new syndicated show
Jeopardy! – Renewed for Seasons 43 & 44
Wheel of Fortune – Renewed for Seasons 44 & 45

Feel free to add additional renewals, cancellations and new shows to the list.

Scrambled Up got renewed as well. I saw a post somewhere looking for contestants.

I’ve also seen a couple posts from people who either just taped or are about to appear on 25 Words, so it looks like that’s back.

I have no reason to believe Feud is done.

Feud has already taped its next season, IIRC -- they are based at Trillith in Fayetteville, GA. So are Flip Side and Perfect Line, which tape this summer.

Filming starts for Scrambled Up's second season in July. Believe it is in the Atlanta area as well.

25 Words or Less will tape in Jersey City for its next season.

Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit taped some "bonus episodes" that will air on the CW this fall.

FYSA was renewed through 2027, though they may have taped that two years ago :)

Always my favorite line in news/tv promos......Of course you can be the fastest growing when you start with a zero audience.

100% increase in time period is great, until you discover it went from 100 viewers to 200.

I guess being cheap to produce is an advantage.

Perfect Line wasn’t too bad, but Scrambled Up kinda wore on me. But hey, a renewal is better than a cancellation, isn’t it?

25WOL is actually just about done taping, from what I gathered; most of the episodes have already been a part of the YouTube live stream. (I’m one of the people BFG mentioned, I go in on Friday. One thing I didn’t miss about taping a game show was having to be there at 7 in the goddamn morning. 🙂 But thankfully, we’re about 20 minutes away from Jersey City and don’t have to be at the mercy of the MTA or the Taxi and Limousine Commission.)

I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Good to know ... the same friend who let me know about her TP episode running this fall also recorded 25WOL this week "for giggles." :)

The Celebrity Wheel episodes debut on Hulu later this month so those will technically be repeats.

Actually, some Celebrity WOF episodes will premiere first to Hulu and Disney+ on June 12, and will rerun on ABC later this year or sometime next year.

Funny you mention this, because two people I know actually were on both TP and 25WOL. One’s already been shown, the other taped Tuesday. (Oddly enough, they faced each other on TP.)
