Nope, two completely different episodes today it seems.
And it appears there is more to come.  Listings for tomorrow and Sunday have episodes 5 and 8, respectively.  There are also a number of TBAs listed for this weekend, which could all be more episodes.  Whomever dug this up and decided to put it on the schedule, thank you.

I guess that makes the ones airing right now 3 and 4?

Not necessarily.  It could be generic numbering, based on what's available.

Very pleasant surprise but I wonder where these were found.  I had a phone conversation with the guy who runs BonusRound a couple of years ago.  He said he'd been thru the CFTO and CTV vaults and found there was hardly anything there from before 1980.  I mentioned Anything You Can Do and He Knows, She Knows - another CTV show from the same time period - and he said he couldn't find any of those.

I'm glad somebody found them somewhere!

The 6 pm runs on Friday were the same as Thursday. time will tell whether that was a mistake or if the plan is to be one day behind the noon runs.

I always liked the theme song from Anything You Can Do.  The first episode that aired today had a fairly long cut of it and the end.  It has a cold ending and I remember one episode in the Don Harron years where it was played right to the end.  There were likely others.

It was probably written by Don Reid as it has some of the same melody as the College Bowl theme.

I wonder where the tapes were. CJOH had a fire about 15 years ago and they lost the newsroom and some of the video archives at the time. Nice to see something local, albeit of middling entertainment value.

I can answer this firsthand. The Reid family's storage unit.

Hmmm...so maybe most of the three-year run exists then?  I'd love to see this on the main GameTV channel eventually.

I've missed some episodes but I've been trying to catch them whenever they've been on.  There doesn't seem to be a linear pattern in which they're running them - an episode from Sunday afternoon was played again this evening, so they're not doing same-day repeats.  If my count is correct, I think they've run about 15 separate episodes (as of this writing).

I don't think the show was heavily syndicated in the US.  In my out-of-town TV Guides between 1971 and 1974, I only recall it being listed in a couple of them, if that.

Hmm...I wonder how that bodes for the survival of some of his other shows, like the original 60s Dream House (knowing that the 80s run was lost in a flood).

Since it's been a while my memory on this may be hazy, but weren't the ones lost in the flood in NBC's storage vault?  I'm just speculating, but maybe the Reid family could have kept their own separate copies.

It looks like GameTVGo only has 20 episodes of Anything You Can Do in the rotation so far. Hopefully they'll add more eventually.

My full AYCD experience was an episode aired late last night.  It was a 75-car pile up on the other side of the freeway you had to slow down and watch:

3 of the 5 rounds ended in default ties, as neither team could complete the requirements before the maximum time was reached, while in one of the other two rounds, it was so lopsided and anything that could go wrong did..

As the show closed, the scene looked like total mayhem with the teams "playfully" attacking each other and Gene (wearing the finest Italian red-chered tablecloth slacks) egging them on.

The main theme was the only saving grace!

Yeesh, that sounds like the dribbling shiats even by AYCD "standards." Really it's a shame; I love Gene Wood hosting Beat Teh Clock and this SHOULDN'T be that far removed.
