What I've noticed more than anything with the 1988-89 episodes is that there is an element of sloppiness to them you do not see nearly as often four years prior. Incorrect cuts, poor camera work, and shoddy staging seem way more frequent. Given that it's the exact same live-to-tape format it had been, that has to fall at the feet of Paul Alter and everyone else behind the scenes now seemingly more interested in keeping their new overlord Bob happy than actually putting on the best show they can. From the limited episodes I've seen in years prior to 1982, it really feels to me like 1983-84 through 85-86 were the three seasons when Price was absolutely firing on all cylinders.

Not as exciting as Tubi acquiring a good chunk of the MeTV Toons Library (along with Animaniacs & Pinky & The Brain) starting March 1st, but...still nice!

Don't let the thumbnails for "Season 1980" and "Season 1981" of Card Sharks fool you........Still Perry.

This has been the case for a few years now, but Tubi and Pluto are everything that made cable awesome 30-40 years ago. I love the mix of classics and obscurities, especially with the movie selection.

Personally, I enjoy being able to watch the episodes I choose to watch on demand.

Which I acknowledge is the mindset that's contributing to the increased fracturing of viewership patterns that will lead to the demise of creative new television production, which will ultimately result in the obsolescence of my livelihood. But I can't deny it's convenient.

As part of Tubi's recent influx of new Fremantle VOD content, they've added another 70ish episodes of Barker TPiR, consisting of the first ~third of season 12 - up through the end of calendar year 1983. None of this is new, and none of the four shows previously skipped on streaming channel loops are present here.   As with everything else Tubi has posted lately, the videos are stretched into a forced 16:9 for some reason. Still, they're there. Wouldn't be surprised to see them add more soon.

Take this with a GIANT grain of salt.  The GameTV Go channel on Plex has 2 episodes of something called Anything You Can Do on today at 12:42 PM and 6:11 PM Eastern time.  Could it be the Canadian Beat the Clock clone from the early 70s?

Details say Sept. 9, 1971, so I'm betting yes.
Edit: That's a yes, first time seeing it in nice quality.

Is this the first time that it's ever been in reruns? Or was it a Game of the Week on GSN once long ago?

First time ever for reruns, it's been completely untouched since 1974.

I'm very happy to see the show has survived all these years...and very happy to see it in such excellent quality!

Is this the same episode that's been around for all these years, or a different one?  Would love to see more of this!

Nope, two completely different episodes today it seems.

Hmmm...maybe there's a few more goodies out there that we don't know about!  I guess they figured this is too obscure to air on their main channel.
