Font Q
« on: July 25, 2014, 02:11:44 PM »
Afternoon. After trying font identifiers with no luck, I come to the board for possible answers. Does anyone know the font used on the $25,000 sign at the top of the 80's Pyramid set?

Thanks for any assistance!

It's SueVermeer. You can find it at http://www.eaglefonts.com/suevermeer6-demish-ttf-133140.htm

This same question got asked last year, which you could have found out simply with the help of this little guy http://lmgtfy.com/?q=font+on+%2425%2C000+pyramid

How delightfully passive-aggressive of you there, Jessica. I'll remember that going forward. (I've had my quibbles with DJ but I wouldn't choose this time to snark at him.)

I could have done that. But I thought there were many people on here who may have had the knowledge of the font right off the bat. Sorry to fluff your font feathers.

Duly noted; and I genuinely thank you for the tip, going forward, Travis.

I would be remiss as a graphic designer if I didn't mention that the font in question, for those who would want to pay for the real deal is ITC Souvenir Standard Demi. (See what the knockoff artists did there?)

That it's actually called "Souvenir" makes me incredibly happy.
