"Surprise" is putting it mildly. It apparently premieres May 22.

I think that MTV 2 is very much a celebrity-driven channel. They have a strong demographic of young people, mostly urban or those who like urban music, and a trough of stars. Look at Nick Cannon's Wild'N Out. Very funny stuff. This is a good vehicle for that kind of audience.

Honestly, I'll totally watch this just because the notion of Fat Joe playing Hollywood Squares straight is so Dali-esque.

Why not hire the Wayans Bros. to put on "East Hollywood Squares?"

Given rap history, this could be the first Squares with fatalities.
