Ow, my brainhole.
It sounds like a really, really crappy version of baccarat.

So you were able to comprehend that mess, Chris? You're a better man than I, Gunga Din.

Well, I know how to play baccarat, and I read enough of that to see that the drawing rules were sorta like baccarat. And then I stopped because the part I read was enough to convince me that I would never ever have the slightest bit of interest in playing that game. :)

Ouch. I won't complain about another IKEA manual again. Shouldn't casino games be relatively easy to play so that the players get a good grasp on how to wi- ohhhhhh, I see what they're doing there.
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

Upon rereading, I understand it. It is baccarat except the low number wins and 13+ is a zero. The thing that jumps out at me (besides sixteen short decks) is the surrender on a seven-seven tie. Even continental Roulette allows a punter the chance to win back a bet that's en prison. Keeping a number like that as the house edge requires some big Ones, I tell you.

It's a side game. Anyone who is halfway-gambling-savvy knows that the side games are where the REAL cornholing happens.

Forget the players.  If dealers don't understand the game, it will never see the floor.  Furthermore, if dealers don't like the game, it won't see much action--dealers truly can make or break a game.

So basically, it looks like the main object is to hope to get over 12, because that gets you T3h Golden Zero. You can see where the blatant house edges are: 7-7 tie (7 being the most common two-card hand) surrendering, and the dealer taking a card on any 9, 10 or 11. Interesting though that the house doesn't necessarily take a card on 12...

Basically, like Chris said, it's Blackjack meets Baccarat, and not in a good way. At least in Baccarat, the opportunity for a win is always there. In this game, just like Blackjack, it's quite possible for a hand to occur where a player has no way to win, no matter how they play it.

Pass.
