Don't stir the sauerkraut.

Don't step on the sauerkraut.  You really wouldn't like him when he's angry!

Maybe The Wink bumped Mike Sexton from "Shuffle Up and Deal"?

Well, I didn't think it would take a month before I could pay-off the tease, but Wink e-mailed me the "go ahead" last night:

He's hosting "INSTANT RECALL" on GSN starting Thursday, March 4th.  To oversimplify, it's "Punked" meets - oh, maybe -"Hit Man".

The show first tests players’ patience, then tests their memory as unsuspecting participants are caught on hidden camera in unbelievable situations—and are then quizzed on the experience for cash and prizes. Each episode features two games. In each, an unsuspecting “mark” finds himself in an outrageous situation, and is then tested on the details of the event that just occurred. The more correct answers, the more cash and prizes. The magic moment (for me) is when Wink makes a dramatic and funny entrance as the show turns from the candid camera ruse to the quiz.

If there's no official announcement in a few days, I'll post more.

Congrats to the Winker - a guy who has always been very kind to me. Good luck on series #20!!

Did Wink keep any of the hats that he'd show off each Friday? If so, he just needs to pester Don Cherry for a coat and it'll be like going back to 1984. Good times.

/how many stations can you GET on that thing.
//always happy to hear about good things happening to good people.

As I recall, he was asked that very question at one of the Game Show Congressesses a few years back, and he admitted that no, he no longer had them.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

They all have to go somewhere after leaving the set.

Part of me wants to think he still has that flag from Monmouth County, NJ somewhere.
