Although it almost lost me in the first paragraph when Wink Martindale was noted as the host of Card Sharks, this is a pretty good review of the standard board and computer games out there.  (I may have to think about Wheel of Fortune, which was half price at Target last time I checked, and it's another piece of ammunition for getting a Wii.)

Perhaps that's the 20th show he's hosting

Dingbat. Is doing a little research that tough? "I knew it was some card game. Oh, well. LOL".
For the Chicago Tribune even, for crying out loud. I'd put a comment correction in there but I don't want to register for the site so I can get spammed.

I wouldn't mind that. Randy West, can you confirm or deny without violating your oath?

I think if somebody from the Trib knew that, we'd all know it.

Nice touches: ... All the delightfully campy '70s-era music is present.
Great!  Now we just need to get somebody to convince the people that work on the ACTUAL The Price is Right that the old music is considered a good thing.

And isn't this from the company that is now run by a man who had a hand in the evil Clear Channel empire, destroying dozens of radio stations, and is now doing the same to Tribune???  The same man whom Howard Stern affectionately calls "Pig Vomit"???

Yes, it's none other than Kevin Metheny!!!

Kevin Metheny doesn't run the whole company, he's just head of programming for WGN-AM.  And no, the ratings haven't improved, but he's ticked off a lot of long-time listeners.  We're not at the point where they do a mea culpa (see WCBS-FM), but things aren't great.
