Six months ago, I never thought I would actually be excited about this season...
I'm really looking forward to the premiere now.

I like the retro pattern, but I hate the geometric shapes behind the logo.  What the hell IS that??!

70's retro, is what it is. Which is prezactly what it should be.

I was around in the 70s.  That orange and red blob isn't like anything I remember.

The doors look nice, but who is that cute girl with Drew?  If that's his girlfriend, he's even luckier to have her than to have the "Price" job!

I don't think it's bad, but it's definitely busy, with most of the colors being within spitting distance of one another.

That is my only gripe (a tiny, tiny one)...fortunatley, this is door #1, so It won't be seen as much.

Looking at the design pattern on door number one, I seem to see one of those mind illusion puzzles:

Which circles do you see as the dominant ones?

A -- The dark orange diamonds in the center of lighter orange circles, or
B -- The yellow diamonds in the center of the lighter orange circles??

I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out. Interesting.

EDIT: Another way to see it is yellow and dark orange diamonds floating on a light orange background.

Today's trivia - those are called hypercycloids, or curved-edge diamonds. Put together, they form diamonds within circles. They are probably most familiar as the three diamonds in the Pittsburgh Steelers logo.

I see a vase.

Wait... now I see two faces!

Very nice doors.  Very LMAD-ish, and that's a good thing.  I think it'll go a long way towards helping make the show Drew's very own.

{now that my eyesight has returned}

It takes some getting used to, but I like it, considering the new doors from a few years ago were pretty bright as well. It has a sweet retro vibe without becoming kitsch, and I can't wait to see it with the light borders.

Nitpick, I like the orange, but I would've loved to see a red variation. Then again, something about orange has a 70s-retro quality to it, but I can't pinpoint it.

I love the slanted box for the TPiR logo...for some reason I keep seeing the big box from Let's Make a Deal when I see it though. :-)
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

Seeing the picture of door #1 & reading about the other 2 doors' looks does have that LMAD feel to it.  I only hope Drew doesn't reference LMAD in regards to those doors by accident.  The other set changes sure makes me anxious for the S36 debut if & when it finally comes.

"Busy" is one of the first words that came to mind when I saw it, as well as "repetitive". Those hypercycloids need to fade into the background more. This could be done by making them MUCH larger, in which case you would have a series of arcs. It could also be done by making them much smaller, like the CBS eye curtains in 33. Still, it is quite refreshing to be rid of the hoary old rainbow pattern.

This is reminiscent of Bente's first game show set, Password Plus, with the interlocking plus signs and the swastikas in between.
