Not for the live auditions listed above. I'm sure that it's a first come/first served, fill out the 10 page app, get your mug shot and short video audition, play a mock game with others, get your Power of 10 pencil for coming in, they'll call you if they want to discuss the process further-type event.
Considering the short time between the audition announcement and audition date, and the fact that the game is not too well known yet, the lines to go through the cattle call should be a mere fraction of the chaos you'd see at a "Wheel" or "Deal" open audition.
