The Destination site removed Deal as coming for the Wii.  That could've been a halfway interesting game if Miis were involved in some capacity.

Adorable? Yes. Interesting? Not in the least.

I enjoy Big Brain but Brain Age did a superb job with sudoku.  Still, both games are likely superior to Deal.
Brain Age didn't feel like a game, though. (Though I agree they did nail the Sudoku.) When people ask me which one they should buy, I ask them if they want a training program or a game. If they want a trainer, Brain Age. If they want a game, Big Brain Academy.

TWO "1 vs. 100" products are now/or about to appear in stores.  I've seen some online sites now listing the DVD game in stock, and if you click the following link, you'll see a demo of the new Plug it in & Play game from Jakks Pacific:

A brief posting earlier today at http://www.buzzerblog.com/ mentions that iToys will be releasing a tabletop electronic version of Family Feud!

I'm sorry, but Price is a game that will never work well like this...unless they have a customizable database for the prices.  It'll get dated way too fast.   But it is nice to see that someone is trying to one-up that horrific DOS version.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

Not necessarily. In this age where many people have broadband, the company could provide a downloadable "prize pack" with updated prizes/prices.

Hell, WWTBaM 3rd Edition was doing that a few years ago when broadband was less common (YDKJ did thisas well, yes?)

I thought that very same thing...the question is, though, would there be enough demand for the game to justify producing new prize packs, year after year?

Well, maybe not every year...the way prices rise, I suppose you could get away with one every two years.  But then there comes a point in the not-too-distant future when the game just becomes obsolete anyway and no one plays it...

/Like, say, 2014, when a Chevrolet Provoona costs $44,000...while the game has you playing Card Game for a Malibu worth $22K.

You *did* read the part where they mentioned product placement opportunities, right? It would be cake (not to mention a nice revenue stream) to continue this after the game has been published, and fanb0is will suck down the new ads price updates like it's Christmas.

Users actually being EXCITED about downloading new ads is every video game maker's DREAM.

It's out.  This was mentioned about half a dozen posts before yours.

From what I've read, the Deal DS game has the regular TV mode, a Card Sharks-style "higher or lower" game, and a game where you have to open a safe whose combination are three numbers from 1 to 26.

Amazon.com has the 1 vs. 100 DVD game in stock.

Actually I am clemon. Normally I wuss out when i see $286,000 and its 1 vs 11.

And also the "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" Card Game has just released, time to pretend you remember grade school, by rolling a dice and picking a grade level.

5. Distasteful Posts

Posts deemed to be offensive, in generally bad taste or inflammatory in nature, will subject the author to disciplinary action. Posting messages which are harrassing, insulting, belittling or derisive to other board member(s), or which incite personal attacks against other board member(s), will be considered grounds for disciplinary action. A pattern of excessive and gratuitous use of foul language shall constitute grounds for disciplinary action.

Is this rule not enforced?

/waiting for someone to say "bad taste" like your post.

Anyway, On the subject of "The Price is Right PC Game"; I feel like it would be great, if they change how it was played on DVD. So we could ACTUALLY give a bid on the showcase, rather than selecting one from a menu. I hope they also include more pricing games than the ones also featured in the DVD Game.
