Half-way through the heart-warming blackjack segment, I expected Maury Povich to jump out and say "Raul, you are NOT the father."  Please, somebody, make the kooky schtick stop!

I, for one, really respected what that guy did. Taking $10,000 (Nearly 1/5 of his winnings before taxes) and putting it on the line for that guy that lost it all? I might take a grand to the tables in his position, but certainly not ten grand.

Gimmicky, yes. Staged, perhaps. But I still thought it was a nice gesture.

I too thought that the setup was obviously staged, but it was still a nice gesture.

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

Next thing you know, they'll bring out a pony for the losing contestants daughter.
