Title: Ken Jennings's game update
Post by: wheelloon on November 18, 2005, 09:26:41 PM
Plain and simple, how is Ken Jennings's game show doing? The last thing I heard was that it was gonna be on Comedy Central, but I've also heard it was gonna be on GSN. Which one is it, when will it get on the air? I know a pilot was taped over the summer, so where is it at in the development process right now?

As far as I know, unless someone on the production team can say otherwise, I don't think GSN is going after this show really.  I know Comedy Central ordered the pilot, but GSN had no involement.  If I'm wrong, though, please tell me.  I'd be interested to know.

No decision yet, but....from Davies himself, there is a big 'poison pill' payment to Embassy Row should CC not go forward to KJ. You may or may not see KJ vs The World in the form that the 'runthrough' was in, but i'd bet money you'll see something....

Well, maybe it will go better than the board game... my local wal-mart slashed it to $9.99...
