We've been talking about how playing games till time simply runs out, without even playing a speed round, and Lingo is a big example. With that in mind, I had an idea for a possible speed round, and just would like some input.
Do it like Bonus Lingo, where each team has :30 or :45 to get as many 5-letter words for 50 pts a pop. Highest score at the end goes on to Bonus Lingo.
That simple. Yeah, it's taking about 1 min. to 1:30 out of gameplay, which is all that's needed to make a Lingo, but if it's so much of a problem, just give the winning team two free letters, no more no less.
