Where did GSN start MG'90? At the beginning of the run or somewhere else?

from the premiere; July 16, 1990. Where Kelly wins $5,000; He matched Joe Alaskey.

It was the premiere episode from 7/16/90. Ross makes no real reference to the premiere(save for telling the contestant in the champions' chair that she's in that chair by virtue of a coin toss), but they are starting from there.
