Title: Buzzr now on Pluto TV... sort of
Post by: whewfan on November 04, 2018, 08:23:39 AM: Buzzr is now a channel on Pluto TV... but only on your computer, not on your tv... Why? I don't know, and that smartass on channel 2 on Pluto is of no help.

I found last night it's now populating on Amazon Fire TV devices (so guessing Android is covered across the board), and it's showing up on iOS now. (Anyone with an AppleTV able to confirm or deny yet?) That pretty much leaves Roku to cover all of the major platforms, and I'm not sure why that hasn't happened yet.

Keep talking to that guy on Channel 2. Maybe eventually he'll reply back.

Post by: MikeK on November 05, 2018, 08:58:19 AM: BUZZR showed up on my Vizio smart TV's Pluto TV app last night, but there was just a static screen with a circle in an orbit. As of last night, no BUZZR on the PS4 app as well but BUZZR was working perfectly on my Android phone and my iPad.

However, it appears that either PlutoTV or Buzzr are "zooming" the 4:3 image to fill a 16:9 screen since it's on the WatchFree app. When Classic Concentration is on, the entire bottom row of the game board is missing. :-(

On the Buzzrplay.com livestream, it's not zoomed, and looks like it should.

Indeed it is, but weirdly. I had it on in the background while I was making dinner, and the stream kept pausing. I'd go into the living room, tap the "play" button on the remote, and it would start again. Now, I know the cats have been known to step on the remote, but they were both upstairs with their mama.

Anybody else encounter Apple/Buzzr weirdness?

So far this morning, it has been fine.

Amazing how much commercial time you realize there is when Pluto covers up the Buzzr breaks with mostly silent "We'll Be Back" screens -- especially during WML and TTTT.

Post by: Casey on January 08, 2019, 08:45:40 PM: Not sure how it is on the Roku devices, but at least so far, for me, watching on the Apple TV is almost too irritating to sit through. More often than not, the stream either freezes or jumps far in advance of the audio and then freezes until the audio catches up. Backing out of the full screen display to the channel guide can usually break it loose for a little bit, but it never seems to last very long before it is hung up again. Anyone else have this issue?
