Gonna start this now while fresh in my mind.
What's changing where you are?
In New York, Millionaire is moving for the first time since season 2. The primary run is shifting from 12:30 pm to 2 pm to accommodate the expansion of WABC's newscast to sixty minutes. The station's also picking up the Jeopardy! double run, with the rerun episode following Millionaire at 2:30. General Hospital moves back to its 3 pm home. I don't know if the Millionaire double run is staying but considering they've carried it for three years in a row I doubt it goes anywhere. I also don't know if they're going to do what they did last year for Cedric's first few weeks in double run,.but wouldn't doubt they might.
Feud, as far as I know, is staying put but I'm curious to see where it airs. WWOR added a third airing for the summer, in the 7 pm slot opposite Jeopardy, on top of the hour at 5 pm.
I don't know where Celebrity Name Game is going to be on WPIX's schedule yet.
And on a not quite on topic note, at least in New York Meredith Vieira and Steve Harvey are being co-promoted by NBCU and will be airing back to back once Meredith's show launches in a few weeks.
-
In Chicago, Jeopardy!goes back to 3:30 (where it should've never left).
-
I believe in the Harrisburg area, game-show wise, not much (if anything) is changing. WoF, J!, WWTBAM, and Feud are all staying put, AFAIK. "Celebrity Name Game" I'd bet the farm on airing on WPMT (Fox 43) as it's a Tribune station. Also. LMaD airs at the 10am timeslot, before Price (it's interesting to me to see which East Coast CBS affils air it.....A good chunk of them, at least in the Northeast, air it at 10am as opposed to 3pm).
Other syndicated shows are moving around a bit. "Rachael Ray" moves from 2pm on WGAL (NBC) to 10am on WHTM (ABC). Steve Harvey is moving from 11am to 3pm on WGAL, displacing Dr. Phil (which has aired on WGAL at 3pm since it premiered in 2002), which is moving to WHP (CBS) at the same timeslot. "Queen Latifah" simply moves down the digital dial a bit, going to 21.2 (our MY affiliate) at the same time.

Thrilled to hear this. What's taking over the 2:00 slot (I assume Inside Edition is moving back to 3)?

Word? Good. My sentiments exactly. I'm curious to see what takes the 2:00 hour myself...something local, or ABC owned.
Chicago will be airing Meredith Vieira and Steve Harvey back to back as well. Vieira airs at 1, followed by Steve at 2. This takes effect September 8.

The only addition or change in Cleveland I have heard about is the addition of Celebrity Name Game, replacing the second run episode of Family Feud in the 3 PM hour. I would assume that means CNG would air at 3:30, but I am not 100% sure.
-
Announced from ABC 7 themselves via promo:
Inside and J! will revert to their original 3pm hour timeslots, and GH will move back to 2pm.
The Rachel Ray Show will relocate to ABC 7 this season from WGN, filling the 1pm timeslot.
Still waiting buzz from Feud and Millionaire...

Here in Boise:
KNIN (FOX): Celebrity Name Game (double run, to start 9/29)
KBOI2 (CBS), 9AM: TPiR
KBOI2 (CBS), 2PM: LMAD
KTVB-DT2 (NBC Subchannel), 3 & 5:30PM: Feud (3 is secondary, 5:30 is primary)
KIVI6 (ABC), 3PM: Millionaire (moving from 9-10AM, dropping the double run)
KIVI6 (ABC), 3:30PM: Celebrity Name Game
KBOI2 (CBS), 6-7PM: J! & WoF
Note: We aired Let's Ask America last year, but KNIN dropped it due to a dispute with Warner Bros.

I'm interested to see if they keep the Jeopardy! double-run episode, which has been airing at 3:30. They had dropped it (and moved Millionaire to 9:30 AM) when The Queen Latifah Show debuted, but they brought it back over the summer.

In the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Area:
WFOR (4-CBS): 10:00AM--Let's Make A Deal
WFOR (4-CBS): 11:00AM--The Price Is Right
WSVN (7-FOX): 11:00AM--Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
WPLG (10-ABC): 7-8PM--The WOF/Jeopardy! Hour
WSFL (39-CW): Time TBA--Celebrity Name Game
As for Feud, it right now airs on WTVJ (6-NBC) at 2:00PM. However, Meredith Vieira's new gab fest moves into that time slot effective 9/8. No word on it's new time or if it's even moving to a new station.

What I saw today said that the ABC O&Os and KSAT were the only stations known to be moving GH back to its old slot.
As for the topic, I haven't seen anything talking about changes in Austin one way or the other. I assume that CNG is going to KEYE since Sinclair is listed as the second major station group to be airing it behind Tribune. Earlier this year, KEYE moved Millionaire from the noon slot it's had for years to a double run at 3:00 and 3:30 when some talk show (I don't even remember which one) got cancelled mid-season, so it seems like replacing one of those airings would be a logical place to put it.

Bethenny Frankel's, perhaps? That's the only one I can think of that would've gotten it.
Trisha Goddard and Katie Couric at least got a little further into the year before getting it.

Celebrity Name Game will have double runs and a weekend hour edition.
CW46 in Flint will air it 7-8pm, Sunday to Friday starting September 22nd.
-
Just heard via commercial that Celebrity Name Game will air in the Des Moines, IA market on the FOX affiliate (KDSM).
-
Here in Baltimore, Celebrity Name Game will air on WNUV (The CW). No time has been given yet.
As for everything else, I believe it remains the same.
WBAL (NBC): Who Wants to Be A Millionaire (12:30 pm)
WJZ (CBS): Let's Make A Deal (10); The Price is Right (11)
WMAR (ABC): Let's Ask America (7)
WBFF (FOX): Family Feud (6 + 6:30), Jeopardy! (7), Wheel of Fortune (7:30)
WNUV (CW): Celebrity Name Game (TBA)
-
Knoxville, TN
WATE (ABC): Family Feud (7:30pm and 1:05am), Millionaire (2:05am)
--Feud moves from WKNX/WBXX (who were both airing the double run). Millionaire moves to overnight due to news expansion
ETA: Apparently we are also airing the 3rd and 4th runs of Feud at 1:00pm and 1:30pm on our .2 (Livewell).
The rest is unchanged:
WBIR (NBC): Wheel (7:00pm), Jeopardy! (7:30pm)
WVLT (CBS): Let's Make a Deal (10:00am), The Price is Right (11:00am)
No word here yet on Let's Ask America or Celebrity Name Game.

...
You've got a "Change of station in the market" combined with a "Moved to a horrible timeslot". Does the syndicator shrug their shoulders and say "Well, at least we got something" or do they re-shop the show around the market looking for better placement?

I think Disney probably feels that at this point, there's no need to worry because Millionaire might well be on its last legs. Three hosts in three years certainly isn't going to help matters and I think that, if they're getting shuffled out of their long-held slot in the biggest market, they're fair game for a move anywhere and Disney knows that. Frankly, with Feud suddenly becoming as popular as it is now I'm surprised more of Millionaire's affiliates aren't dropping it to jump on the bandwagon. Not that I'm saying Millionaire isn't worth watching, but still.
-
At this rate, Millionaire might as well be picked up by The CW Plus, where old syndies go to die.

I think you're referring to the afternoon programming block, which last I checked doesn't exist anymore.
-

Two hosts in three years, or three hosts in twelve.
Having watched the show I can't help note how far the show has gone from where it was, but it could be like Feud, as long as it manages to pull black ink it really doesn't matter what we think, does it.
-

Rosie O'Donnell's old show wound up there in its last season (back when it was The WB 100+).

But my underlying point is that how much longer are these station owners, especially ones that aren't O&Os of a network, going to want to keep the show when you've got a stronger show you can pick up and plug in in its place?
I'd rather not see the show go but I don't have the power to stop it from happening.

Which one? That might be a market-specific thing and I actually had to look it up because I had no damn idea what you were talking about.

You know, the one that came before Caroline Rhea.

Then it must be a market specific thing. Both of the affiliates that carried those two shows kept them in my market and none of them were WB affiliated.
-

I don't think the host turnover is a majot cause for concern, esp. since Feud has had four hosts in 15 seasons, and honestly appeared to be on the chopping block somewhere between Karn and O'Hurley. It only looks like a big deal because Cedric left so suddenly. If Terry makes the same decision in a year, then maybe it's time to worry.
Millionaire's ratings held steady with Ced in a syndication market where 2.0 is now enough to get renewed. I don't know if that many markets still air it in early evening, Wheel or Jeopardy type of slots, but I'm thinking as long as it still gets competitive ratings, station owners are pleased. It seems that shows have realized they prolly aren't upending Judy or Wheel anytime soon, so now they just wanna keep the numbers in the black (see America, Let's Ask).
In Norfolk, Millionaire airs against LMAD, Today Show, Hour 26, Kelly and Michael and prolly some court shows or The 700 Club. I doubt it's beating Kelly and Michael, but I'd guess that if it's not getting pummeled by the D-list court/talk shows, then it has a chance, esp. if it can maintain a 2.0 or better. I know that sounds crazy, but syndication has changed over the last 15 years.
-
WLAJ ABC53 in Lansing will air Let's Ask America at 12noon.
WWJ CBS62 in Detroit is dropping the 2nd run of Millionaire for paid programming.
Millionaire will only be doing 170 episodes this year.

UPDATE for those who live in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Area:
Still no news on what time Celebrity Name Game will air, however I now know that Feud is getting a new time AND station. Starting September 8th, you can catch back-to-back episodes on WBFS (33-My TV) at 5:00PM. This move marks the first time in two decades that WBFS will be playing the Feud (They aired Dawson's return to the show back in '94).
Feud is also the only game show to air, in some form, on SEVEN Miami stations. This has been another (CLANG!) useless fact.
-
You know, now that you bring it up, since Fremantle is trying to sell CNG as a complement to Feud, I wonder if at some point WPIX will try to pick up Feud. Would make it the last of New York's big six to air it (CBS version on WCBS, ABC version on WABC, first syndicated series on WNBC, which split the Combs series with WWOR, who has aired the current series with sibling WNYW).
Channel 11 hasn't been big on carrying game shows (at least not ones with any staying power), though.

Another Scripps station is dropping Wheel and Jeopardy!. In Denver, it'll move from KMGH ABC 7 in Denver to KDVR FOX 31, starting September 8th. (http://blogs.denverpost.com/ostrow/2014/08/27/jeopardy-wheel-fortune-land-fox31-sept-8/19767/)
Seems kind of odd for a FOX affiliate; are there any others that air Wheel and Jeopardy?

One more Cleveland change: Millionaire goes from 9:30 AM to 3 PM on 9/8, giving WOIO an hour-long game show block with the second run ep. of Jeopardy! WOIO had the same shows in the same time slots for a few months two years ago.
-
I've noticed that Feud is getting some more airplay, too - WWOR in NYC, in addition to the double-run at 5pm, also has one airing at 7pm. WPMT in York (PA), beginning September 8, also appears to be running four eps a day - now from noon-1 in addition to the usual 2pm-3pm.

Yes. And it's been my backup for the Jeopardy reruns I don't wanna watch again.
Whether this remains when the new season starts, we'll see.

Wheel and J! made the same move (from a Scripps owned ABC affiliate to a FOX affiliate) here in Baltimore two years ago when Let's Ask America premiered.

As for everything else, I believe it remains the same.
WBAL (NBC): Who Wants to Be A Millionaire (12:30 pm)
In looking around, I believe Millionaire is switching stations - WMAR appears to be picking the show up for a double-run from noon-1. And as far as GH does, WMAR's doing the OPPOSITE of what's going on with the O&O's - GH moves from 3pm to 2pm, and the double-run of "Right this Minute" moves from 2pm to 3pm.
-
In Canada, Wheel and Jeopardy are moving from CHCH to Yes TV, a re-branding of the Crossroads Television System. They are essentially a cluster of three religious independents in Toronto, Calgary, and Edmonton (much like those "family" stations in the U.S. which devote much of their day to religious programs, but program some old sitcom reruns during the early evening for ad time). They've also acquired a few other shows (including Judge Judy, and Canadian rights to AFV, The Biggest Loser and American Idol; the last of which used to air on Canada's foremost commercial network CTV. That is a testament to its decreasing relevance, for sure, because CTV airs The Voice too)
Meanwhile, Citytv (No I am not going to call it just "City", thank you very much) has picked up a double-run of Family Feud to replace Judge Judy at Noon (Somehow it was actually on CTS before. Somehow as in, how did it Harvey even get by their presumably stricter content standards?), and is replacing the departing Katie at 3 p.m. after General Hospital with Celebrity Name Game. Both of these changes take effect September 8, yet CNG's premiere date is listed as the 22nd; we might be getting a world premiere here. As City is also the Canadian home of LMAD and Price, they're now going to have a three-hour long block of game shows in daytime, broken only by ABC's afternoon lineup.

South Bend, Indiana.
WNDU picks up Celebrity Name Game for a single at 7:30PM.
WSBT, who is pushing a first-in-the-area 4PM newscast, adds the year-prior Jeopardy repeats at 4:30.
The 4PM newscast is on replacement for Oprah, then Katie. Don't remember what aired in that slot 2011-2012. 3PM holds Dr. Phil, which prior to that was Hollywood Squares and the first-run of Jeopardy when Indiana was on goofy time.
-
I just noticed something kind of interesting (at least to me), with some of the shuffles of shows happening on September 8, something is happening in the Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon/York market. Steve Harvey will be airing against himself! WGAL-8 is moving Steve Harvey to 3pm.....Same time that WPMT-43 has their double run of Feud. Any other markets where Steve "battles himself"?
-

Yes, and a step further the week of 9/8. Steve's talk show is on at 2 PM on WJW, where it has aired for two years. It is moving to WEWS, where for a week (if you believe my on-screen guide), Harvey's talk show will air at 3 PM, an hour after another channel shows it. On top of that, WKYC airs Feud from 3-4 PM, until Celebrity Name Game starts.

Interesting. I wasn't sure of Millionaire's status so I checked their website and they still had Millionaire on WBAL. I was wondering what kind of shuffling would occur to accommodate The Meredith Vieira Show. Guess that was it.
Also, Steven and Chris, a show I never heard of prior to seeing it on the schedule is also coming to WMAR at 9am, bouncing The Doctors to Katie's old slot at 4pm.
-

That show is getting a "promotion", so to speak. "Steven and Chris" is one of the shows that airs on the soon-to-be-defunct LWN (Live Well Network), airing on the subchannels of all the ABC O&O's and also some other non-ABC O&Os as well. In case you were wondering, it's a talk show (from Canada!).
-
Apparently the Millionaire double run is staying on WABC, after all- TV Guide doesn't note that either episode is new yet, though...but certainly this will change.
WNYW is picking up the RightThisMinute run, moving it from WNBC where it only aired on Sundays after Cash Cab.
One thing I was surprised to see is that WPIX decided to go with an all talk afternoon, dropping Judge Mathis in favor of a second daily helping of Bill Cunningham.
/I still have no word on where they might consider airing CNG
//or Blackburn Rovers

I was wondering when that would come up. In Seattle the show isn't really going up against much of anything.

Interesting that I've typed in zip codes for three of the cities in southeastern Virginia, and none of them show up. Granted, I already know the station and airtime, I'm a bit curious as to why the metro does not show up.

Interesting to note that under the GET TICKETS section, not only do they list the dates & times of the upcoming tapings, but they list the celebs that are scheduled to appear at those tapings (right now just a week out).
And at the bottom of the list of tape dates, you can also look back at shows that are "in the can" and get a feel for who will be playing in the weeks and months to come...

Well, it's about damn time. Google has been zero help.
Up against Wheel, and double run on Saturdays. Interesting.

Hmm, a double run at 4pm everyday, and then a double run at 5pm on Sundays. I don't think I've been alive in a time in Baltimore where a game show aired in the 4-6pm time frame (let me shuffle off the lawn), so that's something. Going up against Ellen, local news, and The Doctors. They might fare well. I certainly haven't watched anything at 4pm on my local stations since Oprah, so I'll probably tune in. I wish them the best.

Not much new for Des Moines:
WOI 5 (ABC): None
KCCI 8 (CBS): The Price is Right, 10:00 AM. Let's Make a Deal, 2:00 PM
WHO 13 (NBC): Jeopardy! double run, 3:00 PM/3:30 PM. Wheel of Fortune, 6:30 PM
KDSM 17 (FOX): Family Feud double run, 4:00 PM/4:30 PM. Celebrity Name Game double run, 12:00 PM/12:30 PM (With more airings at 10:00 PM and Saturdays at 4:30 PM)
KCWI 23 (CW): None
As far as I can tell, we are still without Millionaire for the third straight year.
The more significant non-game show change is Ellen's show moving from WHO to KCCI on September 8th at 4:00 PM. Meredith Vieira's show airs on WOI at 3:00 PM.
-
In Philly, the game show lineup is pretty much the same as last year except for the addition of Celebrity Name Game Thursdays and Fridays from 8 to 9, Saturdays at 10:30 and Sundays from 9 to 10.
-
Milwaukee:
- Millionaire is moving back to primetime: 7-8pm on WMLW (It was also in primetime from 2007-2009)
- Celebrity Name Game is taking over Feud's slot from 6-7pm on WVTV
- Since Feud's "two seasons ago" run is currently airing from 4-5pm weekdays, I can only assume the first run will now take over that slot (Their website is not updated yet, nor do the TV listings go this far yet. I'll edit this post once I find out for sure; it appears the listings should be up by tomorrow.)

EDIT: Never mind, found the station checker on the CNG website, it's WPHL.
Also interesting that CNG is running 6-7p on the Fox affiliate, WPMT, in the Harrisburg/Lancaster area.

Okay, so this is fun. In Pittsburgh, it'll be at 7-7:30, which will be going against J!/WoF AND double-run Feud. It's a certified game show flustercuck.

//Paired with other episodes of Feud
///Two hours of Harvey Feud a day, and it's not even GSN. What a country.

... I certainly haven't watched anything at 4pm on my local stations since Oprah ...

Just tried it, no go where I am. Guess I'll just have to check YT...
KSBY (NBC affiliate in San Luis Obispo, CA) is splitting the WWTBaM hour in half. Whereas it used to be one full hour at Noon, now there'll be one installment at 11:00am, and another one at Noon.
UPDATE: Turns out the Millionaire split was just for this week only. Starting 9/15/2014, there will be just the 11:00am slot for Senor Crews. The Noon spot will have "Hot In Cleveland" reruns.
Cordially,
Tammy

Not all cities are up there. As I said above, mine isn't, but I've seen the commercial several times.

Tammy, don't you live in the NY metro area?

I remember Tammy saying she lives here in Los Angeles County.

Funny thing is that I don't remember her saying that, but I also was thinking she lived around LA. If so:

As for Cincinnati:
WOF, J!, Let's Ask America, and WWTBAM stay at last season's times and channels.
LMAD moves to 10 am on WKRC (Dr. Phil starts on that station at 3 pm starting next week).
EKRC - aka CinCW - airs Celebrity Name Game 4-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
Brian
-
Found one small change: Millionaire moves to 12-1 pm on WVBT; Meredith Vieira's new show will take the 9am slot.
From what I can tell, everything else stays put. Still no sign of Let's Ask America.
A little something I got a kick out of...it looks like WGNT will air 2.5 hours of Steve Harvey on weekdays, until Name Game premieres...they air a double run of his talk show during the day, then his late-90s sitcom at 7:30, which is where Craiggers goes on the 22nd. I think they also air back-to-back episodes of the sitcom on weekends. I'm honestly surprised they didn't try to get Feud, but I guess it does pretty well on WTVZ.
Finally, anyone know anything about The Game Plane? It's apparently a new offering with Mark L. Walberg.
-
Interesting that CNG is going head-to-head with J/WoF in many markets, including mine. In Pittsburgh those two have aired in the 7PM hour, on the same station for at least the last 25 years (probably even longer) and I don't see anything luring loyal viewers away from it. Perhaps they're trying to court younger viewers who think of J! and Wheel as shows for "old people?"
-
Per Millionaire's FB page...double run markets will be receiving two new episodes a day for the first three weeks of the season as they did last year.
-
I assume that CNG is going to KEYE since Sinclair is listed as the second major station group to be airing it behind Tribune. Earlier this year, KEYE moved Millionaire from the noon slot it's had for years to a double run at 3:00 and 3:30 ... so it seems like replacing one of those airings would be a logical place to put it.
CNG is indeed going to KEYE and replacing the 3:30 episode of Millionaire, but also airing at 6:30 (opposite Wheel on KXAN and the second half of a Family Feud double run on KNVA) and 12:37 AM (immediately following The Late Late Show.) They really seem to be pushing it.

/Kevin McHale??
"not the one you're thinking of."
Probably the Kevin McHale who plays Artie (the wheelchair-bound dude) from Fox's soon-to-retire musical comedy-drama Glee, as opposed to the former Celtics basketball player who currently coaches the Rockets.

And apparently it's a hard role for him to play if his Wiki bio is any indicator...he is a dancer and has to fight the urge to get out of the wheelchair.
(I had to double check because I couldn't remember where I'd heard the name either)

The point I was making is that, quoting him directly, is that he has a hard time staying in character during certain scenes because he gets the urge to get up and dance with everybody when they're performing.
Hell, if it wasn't for me double checking I would've assumed that he actually was physically disabled.
-

Does he not take acting that seriously, then? Because "staying in character" and "don't break the fourth wall" were things we were taught in the first few days at summer stock theater camp, and they were things that were harped upon in rehearsal notes.
/reminds me of when Krusty portrayed FDR; he got up from his wheelchair during a monologue only to blurt out "oh, that's right--I'm crippled."
-
Does he not take acting that seriously, then?
He said he got the urge, not that he acted on it, so I'm going to assume he does take acting seriously, because otherwise he would be wasting everyone's time and that's how you get canned. And he's been on the show from Day One.

(Some details may change in the 2-to-3 weeks after this post, but here's what I've been able to gather at this point in time:)
Huntsville-Decatur-Florence, AL market:
WHDF-CW-15
4:00pm - Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (double run, both current season, no change from last season - other than the host, of course;) )
WHNT-CBS-19
9:00am - Let's Make a Deal (now in HD, no change in time slot)
10:00am - The Price Is Right (no change)
WAAY-ABC-31
2:00pm - Jeopardy! year-ago repeat (moved from 4:30pm)
6:00pm - Jeopardy! first run (no change)
WAFF-NBC-48
6:30pm - Wheel of Fortune (no change)
WZDX-Fox-54
3:00pm - Family Feud (double run, no change)
WZDX DT2-MyNetworkTV-54.2
6:00pm - Family Feud (double run, repeated from 3 hours earlier on the main channel, new addition)
It looks as though Celebrity Name Game (as per its website) and Let's Ask America will not air in this market (though WAFF, owned by Raycom, still has a TBA for the 11:30am slot occupied through the end of this week by the now-canceled America Now; the new Raycom-mandated shows will air in the 2:00pm hour.)

Oh it was sarcasm. Read this statement out loud: And apparently it's a hard role for him to play if his Wiki bio is any indicator...he is a dancer and has to fight the urge to get out of the wheelchair. Really, read that out loud and try to not find something sarcastic to say about this fact.

In Philly, the game show lineup is pretty much the same as last year except for the addition of Celebrity Name Game Thursdays and Fridays from 8 to 9, Saturdays at 10:30 and Sundays from 9 to 10.
Oops, my fault. It looks like Millionaire and a rerun of Jeopardy! will be on at 2PM on WPVI, up against Steve Harvey.
-
Thing I just noticed in going through the listings: Millionaire bounces back to KSTW from KONG, moving to 10am which puts it opposite TPIR, for the second time in a short while.

Some of the ABC O&Os are experimenting with putting those two syndie games in the 2PM slot and moving General Hospital back to its old 3PM slot. Interesting strategy.

Western CO (MDT):
The station combo of CBS/KREX, Fox/KFQX and KGJT/MyNetwork (all under the same broadcasting roof) have been good for game shows, while the other -- KKCO/NBC -- keeps rolling with the J!/Wheel Combo:

9:30: Family Feud -- KREX
10AM: Price Is Right -- KREX
1PM: Let's Make A Deal -- KREX
3PM: Celebrity Name Game -- KGJT

5:30: Family Feud -- KFQX

SUNDAY (At least the next 2 Sundays):
12:30: Celebrity Name Game -- KGJT
1PM: Celebrity Name Game -- KGJT
Not bad when you have the potential to watch up to 31 hours of game shows live every week. But can one really stomach 10 hours of shows with unnecessary penis answers a week?

Am I the only one who thinks that the dick joke excuse is getting way too overblown and largely misused?
Yes. It's hardly as bad as it was two years ago. Most of the funny things that made me laugh last season were dumb contestants and Steve's reactions thereafter. His overdrawn reactions is a conversation for another place and time.

Those can get a little annoying but I find them all part of the charm. The reactions that is. Dumb answers are always going to be what makes Feud the most fun to watch and they definitely have been having those lately.
What bugs me is the random judging that's been going on as to where certain things are accepted as similar where they wouldn't be before. That plus Steve rushes through a lot of things (does this a lot in Fast Money).

Actually, they'd had GH in the 1:00 slot, with Dr. Oz at 2:00 -- so KABC, too, is moving GH back to its previous time slot. (Dr. Oz has switched to KTTV.)
I'd say CBS/King World is a big "winner" this fall, getting the J! double-run onto most of the ABC O&O's after having a relationship with the station group for so long.

For those who live in markets that use the "CW Plus" programming service (usually DMAs 100+), "The Game Plane" will air on Sundays at Noon ET, starting Sept. 20. Single run, 40 episodes were made: 20 inbound to Las Vegas, 4 inbound to Honolulu, and 16 inbound to Orlando.
Charlottesville, Virginia DMA:
9am, 9:30am - Millionaire (WCAV)
10am - LMAD (WCAV)
11am - TPIR (WCAV)
7pm - WOF (WVIR)
7:30pm - Jeopardy (WVIR)
Absolutely no sign of Celebrity Name Game or of Family Feud. Feud was previously airing on WCAV at 9am, but just yesterday the double-run of WWTBAM was implemented and Feud removed.
I wonder if this has something to do with Debmar Mercury. I'm frankly baffled that Feud is currently airing nowhere at all in the DMA, despite its national ratings success and quadruple runs in other parts of the country.
WCAV is owned by Gray Television. Could anyone provide any insight on this matter?

For Detroit, WWJ-TV will be airing Celebrity Name Game at 12pm and 2:35am.

Ah, thanks.
It actually makes sense, since WHNT is owned by Tribune Broadcasting - one of Name Game's primary buyers. Another relevant detail, though I didn't realize it at the time, was the station making OK TV exclusive to the Antenna TV subchannel (the three entertainment/tabloid shows that run post-CraigyFerg, Inside Edition, Access Hollywood, and - until now - OK, have their first airings in prime access or late primetime on the subchannel (which, along with Cold Case Files, a replay of Steve Harvey, and a 9pm newscast, preempt Antenna's entire primetime schedule)).
For the record, the other station owners here are: Lockwood (WHDF), Calkins (WAAY), and Grant (soon to be Nexstar, WZDX) - some posters here from Philadelphia and/or Miami might be familiar with the latter (current) one.
-
Re: my reply to tyshawn1
From now through my (and Alyssa Milano's ;) ) birthday, Craig Ferguson will lead out of, and back into, CBS's overnight schedule on WHNT (and as far as I can tell, Tribune's other CBS affiliates).
-
For those of us in Memphis, "rural" Virginia, and other places that will not receive Celebrity Name Game locally, is there anything we can do to be able to watch it?
I'd appreciate any advice over PM or otherwise. I'm just really saddened I will miss out, since I was really looking forward to this.
/Maybe I will learn that I'm not missing much after everyone else sees the premiere?

Fall schedule for Atlanta (all times ET) ...
LMAD -- 10am on WGCL (CBS)
TPiR -- 11am on WGCL (CBS)
WOF -- 7pm on WATL (MyNet)
J! -- 7:30pm on WXIA (NBC -- first-run shows); 6:30pm on WATL (year-old reruns)
WWTBAM -- double-run at noon on WPCH (IND)
FF -- double-run at 7pm on WUPA (CW), as well as a double-run on Saturdays at 6pm (unsure of season the weekend episodes will come from)
CNG -- 6:30pm and 10:30pm weeknights on WUPA, as well as a double-run on Saturdays at 5pm. The 10:30p telecasts will not air on Mondays during football season (this according to a station official I spoke with)
Game Plane -- Saturdays at 6:30am on WUPA (which, despite what the website says, is NOT a CBS affiliate)
LAA -- no affiliate

"Game Plane"'s site is hell to read on a mobile device, that's for sure. :-P It airs Saturday nights/Sunday mornings at 12:30am on indie WSKY...a station that my antenna can't pull in to save its life.
"Name Game" has a secondary episode at 10pm on WGNT.
-
I remember WSKY. They got dumped by satellite providers because they forgot to renew their must-carry status.
What a stupid mistake.

Yes! I forgot all about that! I know it stayed off DirecTV for a good two or so years.
I might have to invest in an omnidirectional antenna...no matter where I position my current antenna, I pull every other local station but that one, along with a few other random channels.
-
Okay, the Feud experiment on WWOR is going to be a permanent thing. The first run double-run is airing at 6:30 and 7 PM as of today and is being joined by a rerun double run airing at 3 PM.
I understand the demand but this is getting ridiculous.
ETA: is The Simpsons now out of syndication? This is the first time in 20 years, far as I can tell, that it isn't a part of any channel lineup in my area.
-
Okay, I was half right... Feud is moving to the 5-6pm hour.
/Sure makes for a good lead-in...

BAM moves in Providence-New Bedford from WLNE (ABC) to WJAR (NBC), and is now a double featured market, with both A and B shows, at 2 and 2:30PM. Not sure if the time changed, since I didn't watch much last season, but I think it did, as it went up against WPRI (CBS) and LMaD at 10AM last year. Additionally, we weren't a doubles market at that time, if I remember correctly.
/birdie tells me a member here is set to be a +1 tomorrow on the 'B' show

Same here. I wonder if FXX's pickup of the show has stations looking at dropping the show? Well...that and the fact that in 20 years, many other sitcom reruns have become available, and since The Simpsons technically aren't syndicated anymore, stations can make more money on a Big Bang Theory or Modern Family.
Also: Name Game will also air from 7-8 on Saturday evenings here (WGNT).

I have no idea what WPGY is, but if everything else is right about the Pittsburgh station, then it's probably replacing an encore episode of the local HS quiz show.

Maybe, but that's FOX, not CBS (which TGP lists the station as being). It could also by WPMY (which is a sister station to WPGH) but that's a My Network

Well, they didn't do a very good job of checking because there is no TV station with those call letters in the United States.
-
Another thing I just noticed: it seems as though Milwaukee's affiliate for Let's Ask America has dumped it! Access Hollywood Live has taken over its old slot, and it's nowhere to be found on the schedule...
-
For the WB/Scranton, PA area:

WSWB (CW, 38): Celebrity Name Game 3pm (Double)
WOLF (FOX, 56): Family Feud 5pm (Double...sometimes. Occasionally they run an infomercial at 5pm.)
-
Here in Grand Rapids. I discovered where Jeopardy airs 7:30 on wwmt 3-1 the CBS affiliate, on Thursdays Jeopardy will air at 10:30 on the CW sub station 3-2
-

Chicago has The Game Plane Saturday nights at 9pm and 1am on WMEU 26.2.
-
Last Milwaukee update:
The Game Plane is on at 3am Sundays on WMLW
-
Here's the Erie, PA lineup :
WJET 24 (ABC) 12:30pm-Millionaire single run (moved from sister station FOX 66, which aired it in double run at 4pm)
WSEE (CBS) 11am-TPIR 3pm-LMAD 7pm-WOF 7:30pm-J!
WFXP (FOX) 3pm-Family Feud (Double run) 4pm-Celebrity Name Game (Double run)
This is the first time since I first came here in 07 that WJET aired a syndicated game show.

The Game Plane is on at 3am Sundays on WMLW
Since the thing is a giant friggin' infomercial, this seems like an appropriate timeslot for it.
-
South Bend, Indiana now has Game Plane on WBND as infomercial-filler programming on Sundays. Timeslot varies.
