He certainly doesn't speak for me, mainly because I actually know the answers. :PWhat I would like to know, along with some other Wheel fanatics here,Here's some more advice - don't speak for others.
I want some help as to Wheel of Fortune. What I would like to know, along with some other Wheel fanatics here, is when exactly did each season of this beloved game show begin? More importantly, my question to be asked is: how many episodes did NBC tape of the show each season, along with the 1983-89 syndication episodes? While I could spend quite a bit of time pointing out every single mistake you've made in this post (such as making the post), I'll just direct you to here (http://wheeloffortunehistory.wikia.com/wiki/Wheel_of_Fortune_timeline_(network)) and here (http://wheeloffortunehistory.wikia.com/wiki/Wheel_of_Fortune_timeline_(syndicated)). And while I'm at it, I'll throw in Wheel 2000 (http://wheeloffortunehistory.wikia.com/wiki/Wheel_2000#Timeline).
For lack of better knowledge, the NBC run seemed to be near-continuous while for the syndicated version, they usually air reruns between June and September (usually 195 syndicated episodes are aired per season).

*First season is generally accepted to have started on 9/19/83, though I seem to remember hearing that some markets began early with the show (?). Not sure how legitimate this isWEWS-TV in Cleveland (the first TV station in Ohio) officially preemed the WOF on September 5, 1983. This followed a week of special presentation shows which beamed from August 29-September 2, 1983, running exclusively on four Ohio TV stations.and were recorded earlier that summer at the Ohio State Fair.
Channel 12 in Flint actually preemed WOF in August of 1983 with Burbank episodes. From what I understand, Wheel was bicycled in its first season. Given that, it likely premiered on different dates all across the country.

Interesting. Your recollection is ilterally the only place on the Internet that I\'ve seen any mention of this. This seems like it would\'ve been a pretty big thing that someone, somewhere would\'ve made note of at some point, but it seems to have completely slipped through the cracks.
Speaking of these episodes taped at the Ohio State Fair, has anyone ever seen these since their original broadcast?
I first heard about them at the 1997 tapings of Wheel at the same fair. During a break in filming, Pat mentioned to the audience that they had taped their first nighttime episodes there, and they didn’t go over so well. I remember him saying that they had a bunch of contestants that had no idea how to play the game.
