I wonder if running "Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Wonderful Life" against each other helped "TPIR," since the audience looking for traditional holiday entertainment got split between the two shows. (Of course, I believe that this wasn't the first prime time showing of "Charlie Brown" this year--on the other hand, I believe this was "Life"'s only prime time showing this year.)
Anyway, that's a nice showing--sorry I missed it because the play in Milwaukee I saw ran longer than I thought it was going to run. It'll be rerun.

Yes, Charlie Brown already ran a couple of weeks ago, but I heard NBC will show It's a Wonderful Life again on Christmas Eve.

Considering previous Million Dollar Spectacular specials were ran during the summer months last year, I would expect CBS to do so again this summer. In fact, prime time in August is even more a throwaway this year with the Olympics on NBC.
What does the SR stand for?
S = Special; R = Repeat (which is wrong in TPiR's case)
