Anyone feel the Phone A Friend should be increased by 5 or 10 seconds?

It's a format that's worked for almost 10 years now. I'd say leave it alone.

If people would learn how to cut out the extra words that fatten the question without adding content, and just read the important stuff, they'd make up that time.

The OP has a point.  With 3% inflation per year, the 2008 PAF should last 39 seconds versus 30 seconds back in '99.
