With the hiatus of Flashgames\2 i was wondering, are there any more sites like flashgames on the internet. I know of one, Joytube, but i was wondering if there were any more. I would appreciate your help. Thanks!

pacdudegames.com (http://\"http://www.pacdudegames.com\")
About as close to FlashGames as you can get at the moment....
-
joytube.com (http://\"http://www.joytube.com\") is pretty cool too.

Oh, please. That was an oversight.
And before you say "but you did the same thing to another poster!!!" look at the inanity of almost every single post he has ever made.

Um, no. I misread the post. I think with 3,000 posts, I'm entitled to the occasional screw-up, esp. when I was at work for almost 8 hours when I posted that.
Thanks Brandon B. for the defense.

Not to mention the complete misuse of a "Wow."

There's also Joytube.com. :)
(This is mere sarcasm. Not a wow, not a slam, but a polite, friendly way of pointing out the oversight without alienating others. Please take note, Gus.)

Briefly steering back on topic for a second here...
I gotta agree with Joytube on this one...not a bad site at all.

I've played some of the games at Joytube, but now I'm suddenly unable to connect to the site. Has this happened to anyone else?

While I played their TPiR game (Name the Price 2006), if I tried to play Plinko, er, Plingo, the game would occasionally restart.

Not up and running for me, either -- maybe the site's down, or the copyright holders of the original games blew a collective gasket.

I get that same problem. Must be a glitch.

Try to say "wow" backwards :)
(The guy who is trying to figure out a way to say "wow" backwards is problably in charge of the servers at joytube)

As usual, you are adding nothing useful to the thread whatsoever.

I will if you promise to try something else backwards.
I gave Joytube a whirl the other night and was wondering how the site owner was getting away with it. But there are many things I don't know about the Internet and permission so I just enjoyed winning all that lovely play money before laying my head down to sleep and dreaming of other joytube games.
Say, the SI swimsuit edition is out--have you seen?
Invision....where everything's a segue.

Joytube is back up, and has the better selection. But I will say some of the writing on the quiz games is awful. Take the Jeopardy! knockoff iQuiz, where you have to type in the answer. And it has to be spelled right. And even then that isn't necessarily going to help.
I've been marked wrong for the following answers, as examples:
My answer: Doris Day
Their answer: Dorris Day
My answer: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
Their answer: Oswals the Rabbit
And never use a definitive article -- oh, except when they want you to use one.
Still, Joytube's a good timewaster -- slightly better in recreations than Pacdudegames. I give credit to the latter for its goofy spinoff ideas (such as Lightspeed).

I appreciate the link actually...saves the endless nanoseconds it takes to type it out! :-)
Seriously...I'd never heard of this site, so thanks to both of you.
