Title: Contestant Question
Post by: kurtinrod62 on January 07, 2006, 10:52:07 AM
I don't know if this has been addressed before on this board, but, does anybody know of any instances of poor sportsmanship on the part of losing contestants on the air?

By the way, what's goin' on with Flash Games? They've been down for months.

No, I'm not trying to be like "my new partner," I'm just listing another topic that's been discussed to death (like Flashgames' status, DonD threads, Bob's replacement, etc.) which was mentioned in this thread.  My item was a literary conceit known as "sarcasm."  (Cash or credit Chris? :))

When will GSN stop with the credit crunches? We, as game show fans will not win until they stop crunching the endings of all our favorite shows! We MUST get them to stop this practice. How do you think our children will feel when they look at GSN reruns and wonder why the ending to Family Feud has a commercial for some Poker tournament? And what about these bugs, in 20 years no one's gonna know what that's all about. I'm on a never-ending crusade to stop the network for games from doing such a deplorable practice, the practice of shrinking credits! Women? Sex? What's that? What do you mean have I ever seen first base? I mean, I played in Little League in 4th grade, but I quit the team because practices interfered with my chances of watching The Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour.

I think we have made some real progress today.  The association of "shrinking" credits leads to the complete aversion to the opposite sex.  The fear of shrinking turns one inward so that a healthy interest in social relations becomes impossible.  Well, it appears the hour is up, we'll have to delve into this further on another day.

When is GSN going to take off all of that reality and original crap and put on MORE CLASSIC GAME SHOWS?  I want to see "Bedtime Stories," "Video Village," "Play the Percentages," "The Neighbors," "Give-n-Take" and Hilton "LMAD!"  And put "The Perfect Match" back on!  Rich Cronin, put all of those on now, you bastard!

Any more oldie-but-baddie thread topics?

Hear hear. A Donnymid frontgame subject title best sums up the attitude: "He’s 30, Single, No Kids, Likes Show Tunes—Do The Math." At the risk of TMI, I will say that I know just how destructive The Math can be. ~_~
