[quote name=\'the title of this topic- slightly condensed\']Trump Considering Run for Governor...What's next, Barker for Prez...?

Geez, Chumley...I hope "to be less cynical about certain things" was one of your New Year's resolutions this year.
Even though it probably isn't gonna happen, it wouldn't be that odd to see The Donald run for office. Whether he would win or not is another story for another day...but hey, stranger things have happened.
-
Yes! Yes indeed. For it naturally follows that whenever someone with a game show connection (loved Trump Card) makes a bid for office that someone else with a game show connection will run for office as well. It is now and always will be the way of things. Even if Bob Barker would be 85 when he took office. VP Fields would only be in his 40s.
It's been said before and will be said for time everlasting: It all connects.
-
Well, Barker already decided not to run for Governor back when Trump didn't run for Prez in '00. *yawn*

You were actually doing pretty good there until you made a positive comment about Paul Boland.
(Disclaimer: I like Rich.)

Two big strikes Paul has going against him.
#1: Harvey likes him. I quote the Harv when Paul subbed for Rod Roddy in 2002: "Keep Boland!"
#2: Paul likes Paul's style no matter what anyone up above tells him. Thou shalt not sayeth, "This is how I do it" to upper management when instructed to tone it down if you want to be invited back.

Update to the story...Trump declines (http://\"http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060103/ap_en_tv/donald_trump;_ylt=ArEGWc_F8aGbqkF3YUZvmH.s0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA3YXYwNDRrBHNlYwM3NjI-\")

So that's what happened to Paul Boland? Wow, what an idiot.

Thank you, Tim. And now, start the stopwatch on when the speculation will begin on the "panel" for his cabinet.

The Boland thing was suppose to be the punch line, kids. And, yeah I like Rich too...I admit though I liked Boland too. Does this reserve me a trip to the land of parting gifts?

Am I the only one who picked up on that subtle humor? :-)
