Alomst CD-Quality TPiR files from 80sTVTheme site? I cleaned all of them up and taken out all of the background noise and have converted them to mp3 format. Just wondering if there is interest in them.

If you'd be willing to share, I'd be more than appreciative.

If you would've taken the time to listen to the whole file, you would've found an [Rayburn Tire Slash Voice] [font=\"Impact\"]ANNOYING HUM FOR THE LAST 13 SECONDS![/font] [/Rayburn Tire Slash Voice] *does a Chuck duck*

I can't figure out how that happened, I listened to the file in the program I used to clean it up with and there was no hum. So it must have happened when I converted it to a mp3

OK, I fixed it. Tell me what you think :)

No offense, but I'd rather have the originals with the background noise in them. \"Cleaning\" them seems to create a tinny (for lack of a better word) effect.

Not bad. (Cool Edit, by any chance?) I'm not sure which I prefer, the tinny sound on a \"cleaned up\" file, or the muddy sound of a .ra file dubbed from an old tape.

For me, it depends. I have a cleaned version of MG/HS that sounds really great but I just heard a cleaned version of Knockout that sounds HORRIBLE.

PMfan, I JUST uploaded my cleaned version of \"Knockout\".  Absolutely NO tinny noise.  Sounds A-OK as well.  It's in the same group.

Is it on any of the Yahoo music groups?

What program did you use to edit them? The editing software I use doesn't do a very good job...

Same old bandwidth transfer messages...

Everybody, listen to me good and well: if at all possible, DO NOT put up MP3s on free webpage providers like Geocities, Tripod, Angelfire, Yahoo Groups, etc. You'll just exceed your bandwidth quickly, and no one will be able to get the MP3s.

I use my Comcast account for MP3s for a good reason, 25 MB of ad-free website space, and no bandwidth limitations as far as I can tell [Chris Lemon can attest to this :)]. If you have an ISP, take advantage of their webpage space; you'll be surprised how much better it is than Geocities and other similar free webpage providers.

Ay-men, although I've only had a couple of instances where I might have encouraged sufficient bandwidth to raise their ire: the release of Jeopardy Challenger v1.0 (and 1.5 is right around the corner, with support for older episodes and a simpler interface, so get your .NET Extensions now!), and my annual release of the San Jose Sharks schedule for PDA's (which will finalize for this season as soon as Calgary and Columbus announce their TV schedules).

Sure thing, folks. It's part of the service you pay for, it's plain silly not to take advantage of it.
