Title: Getting Old DOS Games To Work

While most of the old DOS-based games still translate nicely (Remote Control, Wheel of Fortune, etc.); the two later games by Softie; (Wipeout and "The All New" Family Feud) do not...the text appears in a jumbled mess.

Is there anyway to rectify this on a computer running XP, or are they a lost cause?

I've had the most success running DOSBox:

DOSBox Homepage (http://\"http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1\")

I've played Wipeout, but I can't vouch for Feud.

DOSbox is indeed the bomb. For people who have trouble grokking the configuration process needed to make it work exactly like they want it to, there's a neat front-end called D-Fend:
