The story from MSNBC (http://\"http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9402428/\") All four killings were in the late 70s; the story doesn't say when he was on The Dating Game.

Usually Barris' gang ferreted out the creepy people - obviously this one was very good at hiding it.

There doesn't seem to be a connection between The Dating Game and the killings from the article, just that he appeared on the show once.  And we don't even know when - could have been at any point in the show's history.
