Title: Former game show contestant goes on the clock
Post by: GS Warehouse on August 29, 2005, 01:44:24 AM
Sean Astin has come a long way since appearing with his younger brother McKenzie (from the final season of The Facts of Life) on a celebrity edition of I'm Telling! in 1987.  In the past few years, he's made his own name in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and now Zap2it.com reports he's joining the cast of Fox's 24 when its new season starts in January.

Hey, it's something to tide us over until the season premieres of WoF, J!, Feud, and Millionaire--or the next WML stage show, whichever occurs first.  Sorry, but Keifer Sutherland never did a game show AFAIK, so I'll just say, "discuss."

Kiefer did direct and act in a movie that shares the name of a city that was named after a certain Bob Barker game show.

Before there are any more guesses, while there may be a That's My Line, Oregon, "That's My Line" isn't generally considered to be a game show.

Not to go all Zach on you, but Mackenzie Astin actually appeared on FoL from 1985-1988. He was an errand boy when "Edna's Edibles" burned down, and they rebuilt it as "Over Our Heads".
